 Розвивати навички усного мовлення учнів та аудіювання.

1. Навчити учнів вживати тематичну лексику в усному і писемному мовленні.
2. Формувати творчі здібності учнів.
3. Виховувати доброту та людяність.

1. Організаційний момент (привітання, оголошення теми і мети уроку, мовна розминка).
2. Формування навичок аудіювання (презентація життя та творчості В. О. Сухомлинського).
3. Активізація навичок усного мовлення (читання віршів присвячених В. О. Сухомлинському).
4. Розвиток навичок письма (проектна робота «Риси ідеального вчителя»).
5. Розвиток творчих здібностей учнів (інсценізація творів В. О. Сухомлинського).
6. Підсумок уроку. Узагальнення.

Хід уроку

I. Introduction. The aim of the lesson.

T. - Good morning, dear friends. How are you today?

P. - We are fine, thanks. And you?

T. - Me too, thank you. And do you know why?

 Today we are going to discuss what do you expect from your teacher every day coming to school, what can a teacher do to make lessons more interesting, how can you describe your ideal teacher. And I`d like to start from a video about my ideal teacher V. Sukhomlynskyi, the teacher who « is like a candle: it consumes itself to light the way for others”.

V. Sukhomlynskyi was born in the village of Vasylivtsi in Kirovograd

region in 1918.

His father Olexander was a joiner. He made musical instrument.

Vasyl had a sister Melany and a brother Serhii. He lived and worked at school.

In 1933 he finished Pedagogical University in Poltava.

In 1948 Vasyl Sukhomlynskyi became the headmaster of the Pavlyshska school.

And 23 years he worked there.

He wrote more than 1500 tales for children.

Every time he was together with his children. They liked to spend free time with

nature. They spoke with trees, flowers and birds. Nature tought them how to live

and be in harmony with nature.

T. - You know an ideal teacher is self confident. It is a source of great pleasure and happiness. What adjectives can you name describing an ideal teacher?

 - V. Sukhomlynskyi always said: “Teach students, not subjects “

So, you know that teacher`s heart is so big and so individual. How can you describe your ideal teacher? ( Put stickers on our great teacher`s heart )

… takes time to explain things;

… helps you when you are stuck;

…makes you feel clever;

T. - O`key and now I want you to listen to a poem about V. Sukhomlynskyi by the pupils of the 9 th form Mary Chernii and Lesia Ostapchuk.

Oh, Teacher, you, that loved the children

And gave them all you golden heart,

And dreamt about future life,

Without wars, at school of happiness.

Oh, Teacher, you, that taught the children

In the fields and forests

To touch the flower

And not to shake some dew.

Declared sacred at his school

The Nature, Mother, Labour and the Beauty.

But now only we understood

All his philosophy and deeds.

And we shall go on with all his

Luggage store of knowledge.

The soul of the Teacher here in Pavlysh

Like golden bee its wisdom song in singing.

Велике серце, що горить любов’ю,

Для тих маленьких щирих оченят,

Яні не творять шани гострослів’ю

І не дають оманливих порад.

У педагога, що росте із сонцем,

В якого стіни мають свій етюд,

Від краю неба крізь думок віконце

До малюків доносить вищу суть.

Це так непросто завжди віддавати

Частинку серця для малих дітей.

Бо тут не можна помилки зазнати,

Тут треба добре знати суть речей.

Усю майстерність й досвід із роками

В своїх казках народу передав.

Зв’язавши все духовності нитками,

 У світлих душах істину заклав.

 V. Sukhomlynskyi had his own credo. He followed it all his life.

 “My heart is for my children”.

IV. Розвиток навичок письма. Project work.

T.- V.Sukhomlynskyi teaches us to be open, be friendly, be patient, creative and have a good sense of humour.

T.- And now , some of the pupils had an individual task and they prepared a short presentation of a famous story ”An apple tree” by V. Sukhomlynskyi.

What does this story teach us?

An apple-free

In spring children with a teacher planted an apple-free in from of the school.

They decided that during their summer holidays they will come to school and water the apple-free.

When spring comes a lot of flowers bloom and you can smell sweet air perfume.

(Коли приходить весна,все навкруг розквітає… )

T. -Don’t forget to come every day and water our apple-free.

(Не забувайте щодня приходити і поливати нашу яблуньку!)

Р.- We promise! We will not forget!

(Обіцяємо! Не забудемо!)

P1. -Oh! I will come every Monday. I will root out weeds and look at green leaves.

(О! Я буду приходити щопонеділка. Вириватиму бур’яни , дивитимусь як зеленіє листя!)

P2.-I will come on Tuesday and Wednesday. Put aside all my affairs.

(Я буду приходитиму у вівторок і середу. Відкладу всі свої справи.)

P3.-Well, on weekends I will come on my bicycle with my dad and brother. We will take care of the apple-free.

(Ну, а я на велосипеді приїздитиму на вихідних з татом та братом. Ми її вже доглянемо!)

P4.- As for me? I will come every day? And not along, but also with my guys (friends).

(Та я щодня приходитиму! І не сам, а ще й з хлопцями.)

P5.-It was Monday. Summer holidays.

(Настав понеділок. Канікули.)

P1.- Today is my day to water the apple-free. But what’s for?! Tomorrow Pete will water it ,I want to play.

(Сьогодні мій день поливати яблуньку. Та що їй станеться, завтра Петрик поллє. Гайда гратись! Грає з м’ячем )

P2.- Today is my day to water the apple-free. But I have no time, I want to play with my kite. Tomorrow Vasyl will water it.

(Сьогодні мій день поливати яблуньку. А ну її! Завтра Василько поллє. А мені час запускати змія!)

P3.-I’m not interested in that apple-tree. I promised that I would come, but I didn’t say when, so I haven’t decided yet! May be tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.

(Грає з лялькою)

(А мені діла немає до тієї яблуні! Я обіцяла, що буду приходити, але ж не сказала «коли». Отож я ще й сама не вирішила!)

P4.-Today is my weekend. My family will go to the river, but I must go to school and water that apple-tree! What’s for?! I will go fishing today.

(Іде з вудочкою).

(Сьогодні вихідні. Сім’я до річки йде, а мені в школу йти, яблуню поливати. Ще чого?! Гайда до річки!)

Some days nobody watered the apple-free. The teacher came to school. She was so sorry! The tree was yellow!

(Кілька днів яблуньку ніхто не поливав. Навідалась вчителька до яблуньки. Жаль її стало. Деревце вже засихало і засихало. Від сухого вітру і спекотного сонця пожовкло листя молоде. Вчителька приходила і поливала деревце ціле літо.)

I am poor

I am sad

I am feeling very bad

I am dying

(Сумно мені, гину я…)

Summer was over Today is the 1st of September. Children came to school. They wanted to know how is their apple-tree. They came up to the tree. It was green and beautiful. Each of them blushed with shame.

(Прийшло 1 вересня. Діти прийшли до школи. Не терпілося дітям дізнатись, що з яблунькою. Підійшли вони до яблуньки, а вона зеленіє. Кожен почервонів від сорому.)

Ps.- I didn’t water the apple-tree, but my friend did.

(Це ж тільки я не поливав, а мої друзі поливали…)

T.-Look at our beautiful apple-tree. It wants to say.” Thank you!”

(Погляньте, яка наша яблунька красуня! Вона всім вам хоче подякувати!)

Thank you children.

Thank you much.

Take these apples, sweaty much.

Підсумок уроку .Узагальнення.

T.-Today we spoke about V.Sukhomlynskyi. Let `s imagine that this candle is his

heart:big ,warm and great.Let`s give a part of it to your friend and say a good wish.

At home you`ll write English versions of your favourite stories by V. Sukhomlynskyi.
