Цель урока: совершенствовать компетенции разных видов речевой деятельности по теме «Профессии», а также подготовить и представить флеш-проект о выбранной профессии.

Задачи урока: 

• Практическая: совершенствовать речевые компетенции по теме «Профессии»

• развивать навыки монологической и диалогической речи, аудирования, чтения.

• Развивающая: активизировать творческие способности учащихся, формировать умение работать в команде.

• Воспитательная: развивать познавательный интерес к различным профессиям, повышать престиж профессий: учитель, врач, милиционер.

Тип урока:

• По содержанию: урок-обобщение (урок применения полученных знаний).

• По форме:  урок-игра (соревнование команд).

Основной дидактический метод: кейс-метод.

Технологии: игровая, групповая, новая информационная (компьютерная), технология коммуникативного обучения иноязычной культуре.

Частные методы и приемы: беседа, выбор правильного варианта ответа, подбор соответствий, наглядный (использование иллюстраций).

Содержание

• Необходимые английские слова по теме «Профессии» ,список с транскрипцией и переводом

Оборудование: компьютер, экран, колонки, раздаточный материал: конверты с прилагательными и  с диалогами для каждой команды, карточки с заданиями для аудирования, листы формата А3, клей, картинки по теме, фломастеры, атрибуты профессий: учитель, врач, полицейский, продавец.

Оформление кабинета: деление на з команды (каждая команда является представителем определенной профессии).

Подготовительная работа с учащимися: нет.

Конечный продукт: флеш-проект.

Все задания сопровождаются мультимедиа-презентацией, подготовленной учителем.

План урока.

1. Организационное начало урока. (Вступительное слово учителя, знакомство с аудиторией).
2. Речевая зарядка (чтение и перевод прилагательных, характеризующих личность).
3. Сообщение темы и цели урока в форме игры (подбор соответствий).
4. Аудирование с последующим выполнением заданий по карточке и самопроверкой.
5. Тренировка в использовании языкового материала по теме (повторение специальных вопросов).
6. Диалогическая речь учащихся в группах. (Скрытый контроль диалогической речи)
7. Динамическая пауза на основе материалов урока.
8. Развитие речи: составление рассказа с опорой на визуальную схему.
9. Подготовка проекта в группах (развитие творческих способностей учащихся).
10. Защита проекта (скрытый контроль монологического высказывания, повышение престижа профессий: учитель, врач, милиционер)
11. Подведение итогов урока: домашнее задание, качественные и количественные оценки с обоснованием.
12. Рефлексия учащихся по итогам урока.

При условии высокого темпа урока и наличия свободного времени возможно проведение  игры «Кто последний?»  (Скрытый контроль изученной лексики)

ХОД УРОКА

(Slide 1)

1. The Beginning of the lesson

T: Good morning, children. Glad to see you.
S: Good morning, teacher, glad to see you too.
T: My name’s Nataliya  Nikolaevna. I will be your teacher today. What are your  names?
S: My name’s Mary

2. Warm-up

T: How are you, Mary? 
S: I’m fine, thanks, and you?

Teacher asks questions. Students answer the questions.

3. Guessing of  the Theme

(Slide 2-12)

T: Let’s guess the theme of our lesson. Look at the screen. Listen and repeat after me. The teacher gives the sheets of paper, children  repeat and translate the adjectives.

(Slide 13-14)

Then in groups put  them in correct order and write down the theme of the lesson. For this task they get  3, 2, 1 points.

T: These words will help you to make your own projects.

3. Objectives

T: As you can see the theme of the lesson is PROFESSIONS.
Today you’ll:
Learn and revise professions,
Role-play the dialogues,
Do the crossword and anagram

Play the vocabulary game
Make your  flash-projects.
And now let’s give names to your teams. The team that was the 1st to guess the theme  chooses the name, then 2nd and 3rd.

Children choose the proposed names.

So, we have 3 teams: teachers, doctors, police officers.

Now, let me represent you new words related to our today`s topic, here they are (учащимся предлагается заранее подготовленный раздаточный материал)

It seems to me you’re tired a little. Let’s have a  rest. Let`s play a game. We have three teams so, I show each team a card with a job and each team member should give a definition to this job, if he can`t-he is a looser and leave the team, until the cards are over and we will see which team has more members left-it is a winner.

Foxs, it is a team game too, each team has one representative to do this task, I give a star for each correct answer, at the end we`ll see which team has more stars-so, it`s a winner!

5. Speaking 

T: Now let’s look at the board and answer the questions: What is your mother? Where does she work? What does she do at her work place?

Pupils give their answers.

T: Well, students, thanks for your answers. These questions will help you to do the following tasks

T: Now you’ll role-play the dialogues. Open the envelopes.

Pupils do the task, then check all together and get 1,2,3 points.

7. Revision

T: Well, students, it`s time to revise what we have studied today and lets do a matching exercise

Т: Guys, each team names a job and gives a definition, for each correct answer you get a point on the board (на доске выписаны три команды и каждая получает по 1 баллу за правильный ответ, в результате подсчитываем количество набранных баллов, кто набрал больше-та команда и победитель)

T: Now let’s look at the screen and read Mark’s story. And this is his project. Read the story, then look at his project. What can you tell me about this profession?

Pupils give their answers.

T: Well, students, thanks for your answers. These questions will help you to do the  following task.

9. Doing Flash-projects

(Slide 21 music)

T: Now it’s your turn to make a project about the profession of your team. Choose  the pictures and clothes.

Pupils work with their projects. They use adjectives and phrases from the dialogues and slide 21 as a model. The teacher helps if it’s necessary.

10. Presentation of the projects

The teams present their projects  to the class. They get 1-3 points.

11. The End of  the lesson

T: I like your work at the lesson .Your marks are:  …
Now open your diaries and write your H/T: to write about the profession you like most of all. And now let’s count your points.

Children count their points, teacher wears the uniform of a shop assistant and gives   the prizes for the children’s points.

12. Refleсtion

T: I like your work at the lesson .And did you like the lesson? What was the most   interesting\ boring for you?

Students answer the questions.

T: Now stand up, the lesson is over, good-bye, children. If  there’s some free time, it’s possible to play the game: “Who’s the last? ”

Pupils name different professions. The winner is the pupil who is the last to name the profession.
