Цель – содействовать расширению у учащихся знаний о планетах солнечной системы через вовлечение их в разнообразную деятельность.
Задачи:
активизировать познавательную деятельность учащихся;
расширить знания по теме «Планеты солнечной системы»;
развивать речевые навыки;
побудить обучающихся к дальнейшему изучению планет солнечной системы;
способствовать развитию навыков сотрудничества в ходе парной работы.
Методы обучения – опережающее задание, словесные, наглядные, объяснительно-иллюстративные, практические.
Межпредметные связи – география, астрономия.
Материалы и оборудование – учебник, рабочая тетрадь, разно-уровневые карточки с заданиями для парной работы, кубики с буквами.
Планируемые результаты:

знать и правильно произносить лексику по теме «The Solar system»;
соотносить транскрипцию и слово;
читать текст с извлечением нужной информации;
составлять из букв слова и предложения по новой теме, разгадывать кроссворды.

Определение темы урока. Актуализация знаний.
Open your textbook on page 60. Look at the picture and say what topic we will discuss today. Name the planets of the solar system in Russia.
Введение в новую тему
Open you notebook and write the date and topic of the lesson. (Списать название планет в столбик со стр. 60, затем найти в словарике транскрипцию и перевод)
Let’s read the names’ planets. (учитель читает новые слова, учащиеся повторяют, затем самостоятельно читают 2-3 ученика)
SB: Ex. 13 p. 61 – read and say the names of planets.

Работа в парах по карточкам разной сложности:

В конце парной работы, учащиеся составляют название планет из кубиков с буквами.
