Квест для 8-11 классов. Цель: познакомить учащихся с информацией, выходящей за рамки учебного стандарта, установить межпредметные связи английского языка с историей и географией.

Квест «The Royal Crown Quest»

Английский язык

Цели:

Образовательная цель: познакомить учащихся с информацией, выходящей за рамки учебного стандарта, установить межпредметные связи английского языка с историей, географией.

Развивающая цель: способствовать развитию коммуникативных компетенций учащихся.

Воспитательная цель: воспитание ценностного отношения к культуре и истории страны изучаемого языка.

Задачи: активизировать умственно-речевую деятельность учащихся; использовать самостоятельно приобретенные знания; развивать умение логически мыслить; совершенствовать речевые умения учащихся, развивать умение работать в команде; развивать умение находить несколько способов решений проблемной ситуации, определять наиболее рациональный вариант, обосновывать свой выбор;

Оборудование: карточки с заданиями; плакат с кроссвордом; доска для записей; картинки королевской семьи, генеалогическое дерево королевской семьи, видеофрагмент о королевской семье.

Аудитория: учащиеся 8-11 классов

Место проведения: школа

Время проведения: в течении дня

Порядок выполнения:

Учащиеся последовательно выполняют поставленные задания; в процессе работы собирают монеты, которые являются ключом к «Королевской короне».

Этапы:

1. Получение маршрутной карты

2. Объяснение общих правил квеста

3. Выполнение заданий


Оценивание:

Заполнение оценочного листа. Подсчет баллов (монет). Подведение итогов. Выставление и анализ оценок.

6. When did she ascend to the throne? (She ascended to the throne after her father’s death in 1952 and was crowned in Westminster Abbey in June 1953.)

7. Where was Princess Elizabeth educated? (She was educated at home with Princess Margaret, her younger sister. She studied constitutional history, low, art, music, learned to write.)

8. What do you know about the Queen’s husband? (His full name is His Royal Highness Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh. They got married in 1927 in Westminster Abbey.)

9. How many children have the Royal Couple? (They have 4 children: Prince Charles, Prince Anne, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward.)

10. Who is the queen’s heir to the throne? (Prince Charles.)
