The theme of the extracurricular work: “The leader of the 21st century ”

Objectives: 
– to develop pupils’ speaking abilities, habits of reciting poems and singing songs.
– to increase their oral speech and show their deep knowledge of English.
– to bring them up to respect for each other
Intersubjective link: Russian, Kazakh, Music.

Start

Good afternoon, dear guests, dear participants! Today we are holding an intellectual game "Leader of the XXI century", which will win the one who is erudite, active, determined, able to prove himself in an unexpected situation.

Evaluation of the five-point system. The names of the participants on the scoreboard.

- Intellectual and educational game consists of 5 rounds. In each round, participants answer the question for the correct answer gets points. After 2, 3, 4 rounds are eliminated participants who scored the lowest number of points. Presentation of the jury. The winner of the" leader of the XXI century " is the participant with the highest score.

1. The first tour «Poliglot»

Participant must guess riddles in three languages

1.Сауыттан мықты шапаны, 
2.Есек құлақты, Мысық аяқты. 
Түйе ерінді, Ешкі құйрықты. (Қоян , rabbit,заяц ) 
3.Өзі арық, сөзі әріп.(Қалам,pen, ручка). 
4.Отқа жанбас,суға батпас. (Мұз,ice,лёд).

2. The second tour « Who is the fast?»

The participant must select any cell and answer questions quickly.

3. The third tour «We loves English»

Pictionary.
To start on separate sheets of paper write the words and hide in the bag;

The class is divided into two teams, and the Board is divided into two halves;

One student from each team takes a random word out of the bag, and then begins to draw it. The first team to correctly guess the word wins;

If the drawing is complete and the word is not guessed, then another member of the team takes the place of "artist".
4. The fourth tour «Tik-tok»

Participants are given a card with the name of the type of dance. Participants must dance to a specific music.

5. The fifth tour «Who is the best?»

Each participant has a word in English that he must spell, while the teacher writes it on the blackboard. If the student made a mistake in the word- he leaves the game. This simple game can be used both in a large classroom and in a small group.
