Описание разработки

Цель урока: систематизировать и повторить ранее изученный лексический и грамматический материал по теме «Покупки»

Задачи:

  • автоматизировать употребление в речи ранее изученной лексики и речевых клише
  • содействовать совершенствованию навыков поискового чтения
  • развивать навыки диалогической речи по теме
  • поддерживать интерес к стране изучаемого языка через лингвострановедческую информацию

Оборудование:

  1. мультимедийная доска, презентация
  2. раздаточный материал с заданиями для аудирования
  3. аутентичные материалы
  4. психологический тест

Используемые технологии в работе учителя:

Good morning, pupils! I am so glad to see you. Today we’ll have unusual lesson, because we have guests, but, I think, it only gives us a reason to work hard and to do our best.

What day is it today?

What is the date?

Who is absent?

Our last lessons were devoted to the most interesting topic – shopping. Your vocabulary notes are rather large and I am sure now you can buy anything in Great Britain and not only there. But you can object me that nowadays, during the world financial crisis we should be more economic and can’t afford to buy everything we like. I have some arguments to maintain the shopping, so today we’ll speak about the shopping in crisis. You’ll give me your variants of solving this problem, we’ll do a lot of exercises and in conclusion we’ll find the way.

So, let’s start. To speak about ways of tricking the crisis, we should remember the words, so look at the screen and tell me what can’t be. These are the words of packing the products.  You, please the first line.

Another exercise, find please the odd word from these goods.

Thank you very much. I see that your knowledge of words is perfect, so let’s check your homework. You had to prepare some material about people’s advices how to cope with crisis. It could be the cheap receipt or the economic project. So, please your answers.

Well done! Now we know that the devil is not as awful as he was painted. But from my point of view this financial crisis pushed our economy and also our advertisement business. Because you know that a good ad is a half business. Your next task will be the auding. You will watch and listen to some ads. On your cards, you can see it on the desks; point out the correct answer to the questions about these advertisements.

So, put the necessary marks on your sheets of paper, I’ll give you 1 minute.

Of course, the ads made us buy things. And even if we say that it’s not for me our second mind wants to buy it and where we can buy everything we like- in the supermarket! Look at the screen. This is the most famous in Great Britain Harrods.  

Read the text about Harrods and then we’ll discuss it and do drills. You, please, start. 

How much new information we’ve learnt from the text. What can you say about our great shops? Are there such shops in our town? Do the task.

After all this information about Harrods I am sure you’ll find where to go in London for shopping. But what about the rest big cities? From my point of view in every big city there is such Harrods as in London. Find, please the next text about shopping in Brussels. Read in pair.

Now you may use this dialogue as the example and make up your own one about the shopping in Stary Oskol. Work please you have 5 minutes.

So, I think you are ready to listen to your group mates, be active and do your best.
