FIVE BEAUTIFUL PLACES IN RUSSIA

RUSSIA

Russia is the world`s largest country, covering almost a seventh part of dry land. The capital of Russia is Moscow, which is my native city. Our country has a long and interesting history and one of the richest cultures in the world. Every year million of tourists visit Russia. Our country is famous for its hospitality and the beauty of its nature.

SUZDAL

Five unique places are presented here that tourists should visit in Russia: high mountains, clear lakes and ancient cities. Each traveler will find something interesting according to his or her taste.

Every year many tourists visit the Russian Golden Ring, which consists of several ancient cities with great history and architecture. Suzdal is one of them. Visit Suzdal and find out its local history.

KIZHI ISLAND

Travel to Kizhi Island that is worth seeing. It is located on Onega Lake in the northwest of Russia. Have a look at an open-air museum with many monuments of ancient wooden architecture built in the 15 th century.

THE LENA PILLARS

Raft down the Lena River and appreciate the beautiful views of the vertically stretched rock range going for several kilometers along the bank of the river which is called the Lena Pillars. Here you can take many photos of majestic mountains and wonderful nature.

Visit the Altai Mountains for hiking, rock climbing kayaking and fishing. Ecotourism is growing rapidly in this region and there are many new resorts and hotels there. It is a mysterious place full of rich natural wonders, and one of them is Lake Teletskoye.

LAKE BAIKAL

Baikal is one of Siberia`s most popular destinations because it is the deepest freshwater lake on earth. Every year thousands of travelers from all over the world come to see this fantastic place.
