The Theme: My cousins.

Aims of the lesson:

To introduce with numbers 11-20, to learn the new words (cousins, student, pupil, live, love), read the text, to consolidate verb have, has. To work with sounds [ai] and [i], to know how to read these words (fine, five, nine, nice, six, is, in, this),to develop the pupils reading, speaking, writing, thinking skills. To bring up the pupils interest to English lesson and love to family members.

Aids: cards, words, pictures, interactive board

Procedure of the lesson.

I. Org. moment. Greeting. Aims of the lesson.

II. Warm up. Answer the questions (with ball). What is your name? How are you? How old are you? Where are you from?

III. Checking up the Homework. 1. Listen and repeat.(eyes, hair, black, blue, green, long, short. nose, hands, head)

2. Write have or has.

I…. blue eyes.

He …. green eyes.

I …. black, long hair.

She …. short hair.

IV. New theme. Numbers. 1.Count from 1to 10.

2. Numbers 11-20.Listen and repeat after me.

11-eleven    16-sixteen

12-twelve   17-seventeen

13-thirteen   18-eighteen

14-fourteen    19- nineteen

15-fifteen    20-twenty.

3.Consolidation.

1. Count from 11to 20

2. What number is it ? 13, 15, 19, 16, 11, 20, 14, 17, 12, 18.

3. How many is? 11+2=  14+5=  15+5=  12+4 =

4. Work with copy book. Match the numbers with words. Ex-1p-2

V. Work with new words and text.

1.New words. Listen and repeat after me.

2. Read the text;

These are my cousins. David is 18. He is a student.

Joe is 15.He is a pupil. They live in London. I love my cousins.
