Целью урока является формирование навыков употребления лексико-грамматического материала, закрепление и отработка использования в речи формы будущего времени: "to be going to do smth."

Описание разработки

Цель:

формирование навыков употребления лексико-грамматического материала.

Задачи:

1. Образовательные: закрепить и отработать использование в речи формы будущего времени: “to be going to do smth. …”.

2. Развивающие: развивать умение употребления лексико-грамматического материала в устной и письменной речи.

3. Воспитательные: воспитывать навыки самостоятельной работы, работы с книгой, коллективной работы.

Оборудование: карточки для фонетической разминки, грамматические таблицы, слайды, карточки с ситуациями по теме.

The procedure of the lesson.

1. Organization moment. 1. Greeting. 2. A report on duty. 3. The aims of the lesson.

2. Phonetic drill: 1. Read the words on the cards and find for them their house:

House [ai] House [ei]   Words: ride, plane, take, bike, like, game,

tidy, rain, fight, rain.

2. The rhyme: What are you going to be when you are 23?

I don’t know perhaps I’ll be a doctor

I’ll be a teacher

I’ll be a manager.

3. use the verb “ to be” and say after I…  You… He… It…

She…  We… They…

3. Checking up the hometask: ex 5 p133 a) read the words. b) use the words and phrases in your story. Word box: play football, help my mother, read, do crosswords, go shopping, watch TV, listen to music, tidy my room.

4. Consolidation of the Future Form. 1. Talk to your partner. Mark the day that you are going to read or something else. First practice the pronunciation of the words of the week. On Monday, on Tuesday, on Wednesday, on Thursday, on Friday, on Saturday, on Sunday. Example: I’m going to visit the museum on Monday.

I’m going to skate on Sunday.

5. Auding: Listen to my sentences and draw the subject you hear: 1. The girl is going to buy a flower for her mother.2. Jane is going to play with the ball. 3. It is going to rain.

4. It is going to snow soon.

6. Doing exercises: Look at the following slides. The first task is to open the brackets:

I think mice (to be) nice.

Their tails (to be) long

Their faces (to be) small

They don’t have any chins at all. (see the key). Read it yourself, then let's read it together.

Look at the next slide and after reading each sentence give its translation

I am going to read a book.

She is going to take a shower.

We are going to invite our friends.

The boy is going to play chess.

Use “ to be going to…” and put down the sentences in your notebooks. Check yourself.     

1. Colin /visit/ Astana next week.

2. Jane /plant /trees in the garden.

3. They /play/ football tomorrow. (see the key)

Reading: Read the text “ Sasha’s story.” p.134 ex.6.

Talk to your partner. 1.Who is going to visit Sasha’s grandmother ?

2.Who is going to take flowers to Sasha’s grandmother?

3. What is Sasha going to take?

4. Are they going to take the dog?

Work in groups of five with cards. Situation 1. Boris is going to go away on holiday to his grandparents to the village. Look at the picture and say what he is going to do there. Use: to learn, to ride, to go, to read, to paint, to fish, to play, to write.

Card 3. Read short dialogues and try to retell them. 1. --It’s cold outside. I’m going to put on a sweater. -- You’d better put a coat on, too. 2. --What are you going to have ? – I’m going to have sausages with potatoes, then ice-cream.

VII.-Hometask:p.234 retell the text.
