AIMS: - to guide pupils to know about the importance of keeping the environment clean.

TASKS: to enrich the vocabulary to train using of thematic words in all kinds of speech activity; to put into practice speaking and listening skills.

II. Making groups.


At this time I want to make only two groups. I’ll give you some pictures. Take one of them, which you like more. Now divide into groups by the theme of your pictures: Family, Disney heroes. Find your group and join them.

2. Critical Thinking. brainstorming with graphic organizers


Today we are going to discuss how to protect our environment. One of the groups will speak what we should do to protect our environment! And other one will speak what we shouldn’t do to protect our environment! You have some minutes for discussing. I want you to listen to everybody’s opinion on this problem.


Pupils will draw “Webbing”, they‘ll put a problem “How to keep the environment clean” in the centre and write their advices what to do. They’ll work in groups , then one of them will speak about their decisions

3. Video clip Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato “On the protection of the environment”.




For consolidation of our theme we’ll see a video clip “On the protection of the environment”.







For protection of our environment we must be healthy, that’s why we must do exercises every day.



Pupils will see the video clip and support the group with their ideas.

6.Cinquain.

Well done! You have worked very well. Now I want you to write cinquain on the theme as you like it. Here is a rule:

The first line - the subject of the poem 1 The second line - a pair of adjectives 2 The third line – verbs 3 The fourth line – word phrase 4
The fifth line- synonym 1

Students will write cinquain.







V. Conclusion.











In conclusion remember this Chinese proverb:

If you are planning for a year, sow rice,

If you are planning for a decade, plant trees,

If you are planning for a lifetime, educate people”

Students will put marks to each other.





2. Home task.




Ex-10, 11 on p-24. And write about your point of view to our environment.
