Открытый урок на тему "Amphibians"

Урок биологии на английском языке на тему "Amphibians". На уроке дети работают в парах, в группах и индивидуально. Урок очень интересный и позновательный. Дети показывают как владеют терминологией и выполняют разноуровневые задания. Множество заданий и интересные факты об Амфибий делает урок очень красочным и позновательным. Дети оценивают друг друга во время урока и собирают баллы на каждый правильный ответ. В конце урока баллы суммируются и получают оценки

Aims:

  • consolidate classification and body structure of amphibians;

  • teach students to distinguish amphibians from other animals;

  • explain reproduction and body systems of amphibians;

  • to bring up the interest to the given subject;

  • educate students to take care of animals;

Students will be able to:

  • know more about body structure and body systems of amphibians;

  • characterize life cycle and reproduction of amphibians, give their examples;

  • work in groups productively and cooperatively;

  • explain structure of amphibian’s skeleton and functions of other body systems;

  • know the difference between warm-blooded and cold-blooded animals.

Key ideas:

Body systems of amphibians (respiratory, excretory, digestive, circulatory, reproduction). Habitat of amphibians. Difference between vertebrate and invertebrate animals. Individual work and work in groups. Metamorphosis, lay eggs, fertilization, salamanders, caecilians, Jacobson organ, moist skin, digestive glands.
