I-Leader Good afternoon deer teacher and pupils! Today we have extra - curricular lesson

II-Leader Welcome to our concert which called “Music in our life!

I-Leader People cannot live without music. They listen to music, dance to music or learn to play musical instruments. There is music everywhere: at home, in a concert hall, in the park, at the seaside, in the forest and even in the street

.

II- Leader Music is not only a combination of pleasant sounds. It is an art which reflects life. Music reflects people's ideas and emotions. In this world of ours, filled with conflicts, tragedies, joys and hopes, music strives to speak to people of what is most important, urgent and poignant

I-Leader Music in the lives of different people is different: some compose music, others play music, and others only listen to it. A lot of people who cannot play any musical instrument love to listen to music either at home or at a con-cert. Different people like different kinds of music. You may prefer pop or rock music, country or folk music, classical music or jazz, but you certainly cannot think of a day without music.

II-Leader As for me, I prefer ... music. I have a lot of cassettes (CDs, records). I try to watch all the programmers dealing with it on TV and to go to the concerts as often as possible. My favorite composer (singer, musician) is... I think he (she) is very talented. I can (not) play an instrument (the piano, the guitar, the violin). It is a great pleasure to be able to play an instrument and I like it a lot.

II-Leader. Today’s arrangement is devoted to the World star, unfortunately, who are not with us now, but we remember them, we’ll never forget them and we’ll always love them! They are Mozart, Emalia, Beatles, Michael Jackson, Beethoven. In today’s party my friends will tell about their childhood, life, career, family, album, awards.

I-Leader ______________ will talk about Emalia

Swedish pop star Emilia was born in Stockholm on January 5, 1978. She was exposed to a unique mix of cultures throughout her young years, reared by a Swedish mother and Ethiopian father. The traditional Ethiopian music and jazz that filled the house thanks to her musical father introduced Emilia to the joys of singing and performance early on. Emilia decided on a life in music at the age of ten after one of her father's concerts, and was accepted into the Adolf Fredriks Music School in Stockholm shortly thereafter. She studied classical music there for eight years, playing soul and pop music on the side. Emilia was discovered by Lars Anderson (son of ABBA member Stikkan Anderson) in 1996. Together she and Anderson set to work writing and recording what would become her debut record. Though finding time between work and her studies at university was difficult, the hard work paid off with the release of Emilia's debut single, "Big Big World," in September 1998. The song became the fastest-selling single in Swedish history, attaining gold status after six days on the air, platinum status five days after that. The song quickly went on to win fans all over Europe, dominating charts from Norway to Turkey. The full-length record Big Big World hit shelves in 1999, ultimately selling over a million copies. Her self-titled follow-up drew producer and songwriters from the highest levels of the pop music industry. Though Emilia did not rule the pop charts as its predecessor had, Emilia enjoyed the high sales and first-rate touring that comes only with international stardom. After a long period of silence Emilia returned to the spotlight in 2007 with her third original release, Sma Ord Av Karlek, released by the independent Bonnier label rather than the behemoth Universal, which was responsible for her two previous records. In 2009, Emilia entered a competition to represent her country at the Eurovision Song Contest, although didn't quite make the finals, while another album, My World, soon followed, featuring the single "Teardrops". 2012 saw the singer record a cover of Rihanna's "We Found Love", before she released her fifth studio album on Warner Bros., this time under the name Emilia Mitiku. I Belong to You featured the single "Lost Inside" and featured some of the Swede's most poignant, bold work.
