Aims and objectives:

To revise and practise  grammar item- First Conditionals

To develop listening, speaking and reading skills.

To establish a good classroom atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable

Type of the lesson: lesson of fixation of knowledge and of developing skills and abilities

Equipment: WB, PB, dictionaries, PPP

Plan.

I. Preliminaries and Warm up.

Checking up the home task WB p57

II. Presentation.

A). Revision of the rule

B). Working in pairs

III. Practice and Production.

A). Making up sentences

IV. Conclusion and hometask.

This simple activity encourages pupils to determine how confident they feel that they’ve achieved what was expected by the end of a lesson or session. It allows an instant assessment of how well a class or group may have grasped an issue or topic.

I. Preliminaries and Warm up.

Ex1 –make sentences from the table

You can use crayons to draw a picture

People use camels to travel in the desert

People can use sticks to make fire

We use a toothbrush to brush teeth

We use a spoon to eat ice cream

Ex 2-Look and write three things you need to make these things

II. Presentation.

A). Revision grammar rule

First Conditionals

(Условные предложения 1-го типа)

Такие предложения используются тогда, когда мы говорим о вполне реальных событиях в будущем.

Example:

If I have free time, I shall watch TV.

Если у меня будет свободное время, я буду смотреть телевизор.

Условные предложения состоят из двух частей: главной (main clause) и придаточной (if-clause).

В главной части употребляется Future Simple.

В придаточной части употребляется Present Simple

If +Present Simple, … Future Simple

If +V1 (s, es), …shall/will +V1

B). Working in pairs

Pupils work in pairs, telling grammar rule to each other.

III. Practice and Production.
