Конспект урока "Мой Мир"

Тема: «Мой мир»

План урока (3 класс)

Цели:

  • Использование пиктограмм для активизации навыков устной речи;
  • Развивать память, воспитывать любовь к художественному слову;
  • Использование стратегии критического мышления «Five – lined poem» для развития навыков коллективной работы;
  • Развивать логическое мышление у учащихся
  • Развивать навыки критического мышления.

Задачи:

  • Тренировать учащихся в употреблении Present Indefinite Tense,
  • Развивать навыки диалогической речи.
  • Тренировать учащихся в правильном употреблении множественного числа существительных.
  • Учить детей называть время (часы).

Оборудование - Интерактивная доска, компьютер, пиктограммы, магнитофон, Power Point presentation

I. Warm up:

T. - Good morning, children! How are you today? Please, smile and say some good word to your friends.

The students say some compliments to each other.

P1 – You are so nice today!

P2 - The weather is so warm!

T- Let’s begin our lesson. Please, listen to the poem /tape-recorder/ but first look at the blackboard and repeat after me:

II Work over the tape

  1. Listen to the tape
  2. Repeat after the announcer and look at the blackboard

C) Now read this poem all together.

D) Who can translate this poem into Russian?

III T- I want you to have a talk about this poem. Open your books at page 40, ex.6. Here are the questions to help you. /See ex.6 p.40/

Work in pairs or in micro-groups

. T- Now we shall continue our lesson with working over pictograms.

IV. I’ll draw some pictograms on the blackboard and you try to make sentences, according to them.

T- Let’s have a rest and do some exercises. Who wants to do it today?

P1, - Hands up!

Hands down!

Hands on hips!

Sit down!

Hands to the sides!

One, two, three, stop!

Stand still!

VI. Playing “Shop”

T - I have prepared one game for you.It is ‘The Shop’. You should go there, find and buy everything what is necessary for your work in The Present Indefinite Tense.

VII. Work over Present Indefinite

T - Now do this grammar exercise. Put the verbs into the sentences in the correct form.

YIII. Work over plural number.

T - Let’s speak about forming the plural number of the nouns. Who can say the rule? But there are some nouns, which we should remember. Look at the blackboard and think how to form the plural number of these nouns.

(The students discuss the rule in the microgroups and then choose the speak who will do it at the blackboard)

IX Additional activity

T- Do you like crosswords? Look at this crossword and do it.

X. Work over the five-line Poem.

T- Now we will work with the strategy ”.Five-line Poem.’ What word will we choose/a dog, a girl, a cat, a boy/?

Using the brain storming activity the students suggest a lot of examples to choose just one.

- A dog

- black white

- funny clever kind

- run, jump, play, sleep

- a friend

T- Now, look at the blackboard and make up a story using these five –line poem.

Sts (in turn) – I have got a dog. His name is Spot. It’s black and white. He is very funny. He can run and jump. Hi is kind. He likes to play with me. Spot is very clever. He likes to sleep. He is my friend.

XI.Let’s make a dialogue. Choose the partner and talk with him/her.

P1 - Hi, how are you today

P2 – I am fine, and you? Do you have a pet?

P1 – Yes, I do. It is a nice black cat. Have you got a cat…….

XII Puzzle Time: Who can find more words on the topic “Family”?

XIII. Homework: to learn the poem ‘Goodnight’ by heart.

Using pictograms make a picture of your family.

XIV Summary of the lesson

T- Listen to your marks. The lesson is over. Thank you for the lesson. Good bye.
