Цели урока:
1. Углубить и расширить знания по теме – extend children's knowledge on the topic;
2. Совершенствовать умения и навыки практического владения английским языком по данной теме по всем видам речевой деятельности: аудированию, говорению, чтению и письму. improve / upgrade their skills in a practical knowledge of English on the subject according to all kinds of speech activities: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
3. Повысить интерес к изучению иностранного языка – heighten the interest to English language
4. Воспитывать бережное отношение к окружающей среде – cultivate care of the environment.
Оборудование: an interactive blackboard, a notebook, HOs, pictures, record (Louis Armstrong “What a Wonderful World”).

Greeting
Good - morning, boys and girls. I am glad to see you. Today we will have unusual lesson we have guests on our lesson. But I hope you will be very active.
Look at the apple. Imagine it`s our Earth. I`m cutting it into 4 pieces. Three quarters of the Earth surface is water and only 1/4 is land. One half of it is habitable.
The Earth is our home. We want our home to be clean and new. We want to see blue seas, green trees, and clear sky. If you care about your planet, don’t make it dirty. Don’t leave plastic bags, bottles, newspapers in the streets, parks, forests. Pick up the litter if you see it. Remember that the future is in our hands.
Aim
So, at our lesson we are going to discuss one of the main problems of the time – the ecological problem. The theme of our lesson is “Care about the Environment”.
Warming - up.
Association game. Mind - map
I give you the word and you tell me any associative words to it.

Great. And the next task is to think about the things that can’t exist without each other.
Example: People can’t live without plants, animals, sunshine, water….

Listen to the song of outstanding American singer and try to write down the missing words in it.

Unfortunately we have identified that the world is not only beautiful, but also everything is connected on the Earth. The harmony is the main feature of our life and only if the harmony exists we can live happily. But the situation is not perfect now. Listen to some sayings and tell me what the problem is.

“Look after this planet, it’s the only one we have” (Prince Philip of Britain)

Vocabulary practice
