National Portrait Gallery - There are more than 4000 portraits of famous people of Great Britain. The portrait is exhibited only after the death of a person. The National Gallery is situated in Trafalgar Square.

Royal Albert Hall- This place is a great concert hall in London. It’s a building of round shape and is made out of bricks. It was built in 1867-71 and named in honour of Prince Albert, the queen Victoria’s husband.

National Gallery – This is a place where you can see one of the best world’s collections of paintings. The gallery is situated in Trafalgar Square.

“Covent Garden” - it’s a Royal Opera House in London where you can listen to concerts of classical music, operas and watch famous opera singers. It was opened in 1732.

Royal Festival Hall – a great concert hall in the south part of London. There are 3400 seats in this hall.

Tate Gallery – this is a place where you can see works of famous artists and sculptors of the IX – XX - ies centuries. The gallery was named after Henry Tate who founded the Gallery in 1897.

British Library – the greatest national library in Great Britain, it was opened in 1973. Here you can find the copies of all books which are printed in the United Kingdom.

Chamber of Horrors (комната ужасов) – is situated in Madam Tussaud’s. You can see figures of the most famous killers and murders here.

Kensington Palace – one of the royal palaces in London. The Museum of London’s History is in one of the parts of this Palace.

 National Theatre – it’s the most popular theatre drama art in Great Britain. You can watch plays of famous British and foreign writers here. It was founded in 1963 in London.
