Цели и задачи:

практиковать учащихся во всех видах речевой деятельности по темам: «Город ПДД»;

активизировать употребление необходимой лексики; работа над чтением текста: « In the city» и контроль понимания читаемого;

тренировать учащихся в описании картинки с изображением города и транспорта;

развитие умений и навыков устной монологической речи( подготовленной и неподготовленной); диалогической речи;

ознакомление с английскими пословицами по теме урока;

расширение страноведческих знаний по теме: « ransport in Britain»;

воспитание транспортной культуры- как следует или не следует вести себя в общественном транспорте;

как должен или не должен вести себя пешеход на улице;

активизировать употребление модальных глаголов: should( shouldn’t) и must( mustn’t);

развитие познавательного интереса учащихся к данной теме через интеграцию со школьным предметом «Основы безопасности жизнедеятельности»;

развитие чувств, эмоций учащихся;

развитие интереса к изучаемому предмету;

развитие внимания к собеседнику во время общения;

развитие актерских способностей учащихся;

развитие воображения и опыта творческой работы;

развитие речевых способностей учащихся в сфере иноязычного общения благодаря освоению нового материала: языкового и речевого и практического его использования;

формирование у учащихся уважения и соблюдения, интереса к правилам дорожного движения;

воспитание потребности в практическом использовании языка в различных сферах деятельности;

учить воспринимать на слух небольшие тексты и решать коммуникативные задачи на основе прослушанного;

учить читать и переводить тексты, выбирая нужную информацию по данному вопросу

Warming- up (в начале урока)

l.Ha доске написаны следующие пословицы:

- Live and learn.

- More haste, less speed.

 - One man, no man.

Выберите английский эквивалент пословицы

 Или:

Ход урока:

Учитель (Т) сообщает цели и задачи урока.

Т: We are going to have an unusual lesson today, the lesson - competition. Two teams “A ” and “В ” will complete and show their knowledge of traffic rules. You will find yourselves in magic land- “ Traffic light ” by name and meet a magic square, a magic tree, a magic placard, a magic box on your way. Let’s begin.

I этап: Фонетическая зарядка.

Учащиеся хором, индивидуально повторяют за учителем слова по теме, переводят с русского на английский и с английского на русский, образуют возможные пары, например: Keep traffic rules - соблюдать правила дорожного движения; feel safe - чувствовать себя в безопасности:

II этап: Игра «Найди пару».

На доске в левой колонке записаны слова по теме - глаголы, в правой  - существительные. Задание - подберите к словам левой колонки из правой их «пары» - find the suitable noun to the given verb:

I  этап: T: Here's a magic placard.

There are true and false statements in it. Your task is to agree or disagree with the following statements and prove (motivate) your answer.

1.  Be very, very careful when you cross the street.

2.  Always run over the street.

3.  Don ’t play in the street.

4.  First use your feet, not eyes and ears.

5.   Cross the street when the light is green.

6.  Look to the left, to the right, then look up and check up the light.

7.  Don’t wait for the cars to stop.

8.  When all the cars have stopped it’s time for you to go.

9.  Walk between the lines.

IV этап: Т: Now you 11 see a magic square.

Guess what kinds of transport are hidden in it.

Каждый правильный ответ оценивается 1 баллом, который получает представитель той или иной команды.

V этап: reading test (конкурс на лучшего чтеца текста “In the city”, представить схему этого города обратить внимание на транспорт).In the city (town).

1. In the streets, roads and squares of the town we see people walking, and vehicles( [vi:Klz] - транспорт) driving. The vehicles are trams, buses, trolley-buses, taxis and other motor­cars, motor-scooters ([sKu.tdz]-мотороллеры) and bicycles.

2. In England, vehicles drive on the left. In our country the traffic drives on the right.

3. Along the streets we also see bus stops, trolley-bus and tram stops, where people get on and off. People wait at the stops for buses, trams and trolley-buses. They get on and off public transport.

4. At big crossroads in large towns and cities, there are subways for pedestrians, and flyovers for vehicles. ( подземные переходы для пешеходов и эстакады для транспорта).

5. In England, vehicles drive on the left. In our country the traffic drives on the right.

A) читаем весь текст, разбив его на 2 части;

B) найдите и прочитайте те предложения, где описывается, кого мы видим в переулках, на улицах, площадях города;

C) найдите и прочитайте предложения, где говорится о том, какие виды транспорта мы видим на улицах;

D) Какое движение транспорта в Англии, в России?

Answer ту questions to the text:

1)Where can we see street lamps?

2)When are they switched on?

3)What does the traffic do when the red traffic light is switched on?

4)What does the traffic do when the green traffic light is switched on?

VI этап: I’l1 show two different pictures where we can see town traffic for both teams “A ” and “B ”. Your task is to give as many sentences as possible to describe the picture.

Предъявляются 2 картинки с изображением города и транспорта,   вызываются по 1 ученику- представителю каждой команды, требуется- выдать как можно больше предложений, правильно лексически и грамматически построенных. За каждое правильное предложение- 1 балл получает команда.

Но перед этим заданием учитель напоминает учащимся и повторяет с ними конструкции, которые употребляются при описании картинки: There is (there are),,. I ( We) can see...

А также предлоги, описывающие местоположение предмета: to the left of; to the right of; in the middle of; between; above; over, near, close to, behind, in front of, round; far from( not far from), in the left( right) corner of

VII этап:

T: Now, there is a magic tree on your way. There are different yellow and red sheets of paper on it. Come and take any and do the task given to you on these sheets of paper : it is either to recite a poem, a riddle, or a joke, a song, a poem, a rhyme or a proverb or tell us about your town, or give the information additional to our topic, but connected with it.

Along the streets are street lamps, at the corners of the streets there are traffic lights. The

street light are switched on when it gets dark; they are switched off when it gets light. When

the red traffic light is switched on the traffic stops, when the green light is switched on the

vehicles drive on.
