Тип урока: комбинированный

Цель урока: создание условий для активной познавательной деятельности учащихся по освоению материала в рамках изучения темы «Национальная кухня» и развитие коммуникативных навыков по данной теме.

Прогнозируемый результат: предполагается, что к концу урока учащиеся смогут рассказать о различных видах бутербродов и самостоятельно приготовить разные виды бутербродов для своих одноклассников.

Задачи урока:

образовательная: содействовать развитию навыков говорения, опираясь на полученную информацию; познакомить учащихся с историей возникновения бутерброда

развивающая: развивать навыки говорения и понимания речи на слух,

способствовать развитию творческой деятельности учащихся

воспитательная: воспитывать чувство взаимопомощи, ответственности, умение работать в парах, группах; воспитание потребности в практическом использовании английского языка.

Оборудование: компьютер, раздаточный материал (карточки с заданиями, текстами).

Продукты: хлеб белый\ ржаной\ батон (в нарезке), ветчина, огурцы свежие, помидоры, вареные яйца, рыба соленая, сливочное масло, майонез, сыр.

Посуда: ножи, разделочные доски, тарелки, салфетки.

Ход урока:

1. Организационно - мотивационный этап. (5мин.)

Цель этапа (ожидаемый результат) - создание психологической готовности класса к уроку, введение в атмосферу иноязычного общения.

Задача этапа - подготовить учащихся к работе, определить тему и цели урока, настроить на конечный результат.

1. Целеполагание.

Good morning, boys and girls. How are you today? I’m glad to see you. Look at the blackboard, please. Unscramble the word and try to guess what we are going to talk about? What is the topic of our lesson? – Yes, you are right. Today we are going to talk about Sandwiches. Our topic is “Everyone knows how to make a sandwich”.

1. Фонетическая зарядка.

Задача этапа: снятие языковых трудностей. Отработка произносительных навыков лексики по теме.

The word sandwich has different meanings:

Now we are going to read two texts (p.77, 78 ex.3a, 4a) and do the exercises after the texts:

1) Match the verb and the noun.

1. to chop a) hands

2. to mix b) potatoes

3. to wash c) mayonnaise

4. to add d) milk

5. to slice e) cheese

6. to pour f) eggs

7. to peel g) salad

Put the sentences in the correct order.

- slice the bread or cut buns into two halves

- next, spread mayonnaise on one slice or one half of each bun, and mustard on the other half.

- slice or chop (cut) chicken and put it on one slice of bread.

- add ham, a lot of your favourite cheese and thickly sliced tomatoes.

- wrap each sandwich tightly in foil.

- preheat the oven to 180 °C and put your sandwich into the oven for 15 minutes, until the cheese melts.

- after cooking put the sandwich on a plate and cut in half with a knife.

Задачи этапа: содействовать развитию речевых умений, создать условия для речевого взаимодействия. Применение полученных знаний в новой ситуации.

1. Выполнение задания творческого характера. Приготовление бутербродов.

Before you start watch a short video: “How To Make A Ham And Cheese Sandwich “. It will be useful for you.

1) Divide into 3 groups (you see small colorful sheets of paper on the teacher”s table, choose the color you like). Group 1- red color, Group 2 – green color, Group 3 – yellow color.

2) Make a sandwich.

3) Write down its recipe. Use the following words:

slice, add, wash, put, put, mix, peel, butter, chop, season with, serve

The 1^st group will make meat sandwiches. What do you need to make them?

The 2^nd group makes fish sandwiches. What ingredients do you need for it?

The 3^rd group makes egg sandwiches. What ingredients have you got?

Show your sandwiches to your classmates, treat them and tell the way you have made your sandwich.

The history of sandwich.

They say it was John Montagu, the 4^th Earl of Sandwich, who invented the sandwich in 1762. The Earl loved playing cards and so as not to interrupt his card game a servant was ordered to bring him a piece of meat between 2 slices of bread, so that the Earl could hold his meal in one hand and play cards with the other. That is how the Earl gave name to sandwiches.

A lot of people in England eat sandwiches for lunch. There are a lot of sandwich shops in London. You can buy all sorts of sandwiches in these shops. You can get meat sandwiches, or salad sandwiches, or meat-and-salad sandwiches. And you get cheese, egg or fish sandwiches. You can even buy fruit sandwiches. Each sandwich has 2 thin slices of bread. You put butter and meat between the two slices.

Sandwich Day (US)

Everyone loves sandwiches, and most of us eat them daily, mainly for lunch. According to the National Restaurant Association, hamburgers are the second most popular lunch choice by full-time workers, after fruit. In fact, 75% of restaurants claim that a beefburger is the most popular carry-out food in America.
