Внеклассное мероприятие проводится ко Дню европейских языков.

Описание разработки

Цели: Развивающая – развить творческие способности, креативность  мышления, познавательную активность, память, логику и образность учащихся.

 Обучающая – научить использовать в монологической и диалогической речи новую активную лексику и понятия внеклассного мероприятия, географических объектов.

Воспитательная – информировать учащихся о проведении праздника «Европейских языков в России», воспитать уважение к другим народам и языкам, культурам, воспитать толерантность, взаимовыручку, нравственные качества.

Тип внеклассного мероприятия: урок - дебат.

Оборудование: Мультимедийная доска, флаги европейских стран, рисунки

 учащихся, посвященные Дню европейских языков,

 стихотворения по данной теме.

Ход урока (Procedure)

1. Введение в атмосферу урока

В связи с проведением Дня Европейских языков в России и в нашей школе, к нам приехали гости – представители 4 европейских государств, которые хотят поделиться информацией о своих странах, обычаях, культуре, достопримечательностях своих государств. ( Представители стран – ученики из других классов школы). Перед началом учитель говорит приветственное слово ученикам и гостям, обьясняет причину прибытия иностранных гостей в нашу школу, дает информацию о проведении праздника Европейских языков.

Детям предлагается к просмотру презентация «A new Europe».

 Каждый представитель рассказывает о своей стране. Дети в конце презентации задают вопросы, на которые гости дают ответ. Рассказ иностранцев сопровождается показом слайдов.

2. Приветствие (Greeting)

Вступительное слово учителя:

Dear children and our guests! Today is the 26 - th of September. This day is the day of European languages. And we celebrate this event in our school too!

It was proclaimed by the Council of Europe and was first held in 2001 as a part of European Year of languages. Hundreds of events were organised, reaching millions of people in 45 countries. The aim of this day is to promote cultural and linguistic diversity and to encourage people – schoolchildren and adults – to learn languages. Today we meet our gusts! They came here from 4 European countries (Great Britain, France, Germany and Italy. And they want to tell us about their countries.

2 - й слайд. The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland uses as its national flag the royal banner known as the Union Flag or the Union Jack. The current design of the Union Flag dates from the union of Ireland and Great Britain in 1801. It consists of the red cross of Saint George (patron saint of England), edged in white, superimposed on the Cross of St Patrick (patron saint of Ireland), which are superimposed on the Saltire of Saint Andrew (patron saint of Scotland). Wales, however, is not represented in the Union Flag by Wales' patron saint, Saint David, as at the time the flag was designed Wales was part of the Kingdom of England.

Big Ben is the nickname for the great bell of the clock at the north end of the Palace of Westminster in London, and is generally extended to refer to the clock and the clock tower as well. The clock tower holds the largest four - faced chiming clock in the world and is the third - tallest free - standing clock tower. It celebrated its 150th anniversary on 31 May 2009, during which celebratory events took place. The tower was completed in 1858 and has become one of the most prominent symbols of both London and England, often in the establishing shot of films set in the city.

The London Bus is one of London's principal icons, the archetypal red rear - entrance Routemaster being recognised worldwide. Although the Routemaster has now been largely phased out of service, with only two heritage routes still using the vehicles, the majority of buses in London are still red and therefore the red double - decker bus remains an iconic symbol of the city.

London Bridge refers to several bridges that have spanned the River Thames between the City of London and Southwark, in central London. The current crossing, which opened to traffic in 1973. It replaced a 19th - century stone - arched bridge, which in turn superseded a 600 - year - old medieval structure. This was preceded by a succession of timber bridges; the first was built by the Roman founders of London.

Education in England is overseen by the Department for Education and the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. Local authorities take responsibility for implementing policy for public education and state schools at a regional level.

Full - time education is compulsory for all children aged between 5 and 16, with a child beginning primary education during the school year he or she turns 5. Students may then continue their secondary studies for a further two years (sixth form), leading most typically to A - level qualifications, although other qualifications and courses exist, including Business and Technology Education Council qualifications, the International Baccalaureate and the Cambridge Pre - U. The flag of Germany is a tricolour consisting of three equal horizontal bands displaying the national colours of Germany: black, red, and gold. The flag was first adopted as the national flag of modern Germany in 1919, during the Weimar Republic.

The black - red - gold tricolour first appeared in the early 19th century and achieved prominence during the 1848 Revolutions. The short - lived Frankfurt Parliament of 1848–1850 proposed the tricolour as a flag for a united and democratic German state. With the formation of the Weimar Republic after World War I, the tricolour was adopted as the national flag of Germany. Following World War II, the tricolour was designated as the flag of both West and East Germany. The two flags were identical until 1959, when the East German flag was augmented with the coat of arms of East Germany.

As culture dominates Berlin the city sports a great diversity of opera houses, museums, theatres and orchestras. More than 170 museums in Berlin combine for a rich cultural landscape with exhibits from ancient to contemporary art. Sightseeing in Munich introduces some of the most fascinating architectures in Germany. Staatliches Hofbrauhaus is a celebrated 16th century beer hall. This is an extremely popular destination for tourists looking to experience local culture. The Nymphenburg Palace, the Marienplatz, the Residenz Royal Palace, the Munich Philharmonic, the Neues Rathaus are some of the most frequented attractions here. Frankfurt is another major sightseeing area in Germany. The Goethe House, Stock Exchange , Grosse Bockenheimer Strasse, the Salthouse are some of the major attractions in Frankfurt.

Metropolitan France extends from the Mediterranean Sea to the English Channel and the North Sea, and from the Rhine to the Atlantic Ocean. It is the largest country in Western Europe and the third - largest in Europe as a whole, and it possesses the second - largest exclusive economic zone in the world.

The flag of Italy is a tricolour featuring three equally sized vertical pales of green, white, and red. Its current form has been in use since 19 June 1946 and was formally adopted on 1 January 1948. The first entity to use the Italian tricolour was the Cispadane Republic in 1797, after Napoleon's victorious army crossed Italy. During this time many small republics of Jacobin inspiration supplanted the ancient absolute states and almost all, with variants of colour, used flags characterised by three bands of equal size, clearly inspired by the French model of 1790. The colours chosen by the Republic were red and white, the colours of the flag of Milan, and green, which was the colour of the uniform of the Milanese civic guard.

At the initiative of the Council of Europe, Strasbourg, the European Day of Languages has been celebrated every year since 2001 on 26 September.

 Throughout Europe, 800 million Europeans represented in the Council of Europe's 47 member states are encouraged to learn more languages, at any age, in and out of school. Being convinced that linguistic diversity is a tool for achieving greater intercultural understanding and a key element in the rich cultural heritage of our continent, the Council of Europe promotes plurilingualism in the whole of Europe.

3) What did you visit in Crimea?

4) What are the most interesting sights did you visit?

Гости отвечают на вопросы.

Мероприятие заканчивается показом флагов европейских стран. Дети прощаются с гостями.
