Space exploration has always been a romantic idea for people. But it was only in the 1960ies that this dream was to become a reality.

What do you know about space exploration?

Do the following quiz and check how well you know the historical events, dates and prominent faces of space exploration.

1. When is the Cosmonautics Day celebrated in Russia?

a) on the 12th of April

b) on the 23rd of February

Correct answer is a) On 12th of April, 1961 Russian Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin became the first man in space.

2. Do the crossword. Find 8 “space” words.
