How is your life? Did you enjoy your summer holidays in the USA? I’m sure you did.

I came back to Russia from Cuba three weeks ago, and I’ve been here since that time. But I’m still thinking of a wonderful time I had in Cuba in August. I went there with my granny. Life is absolutely different there. I miss Old Havana, a historic place which is great to explore on foot. Its streets are narrow, its squares are lively and its architecture is beautiful. I also enjoyed Fusterlandia — a colorful mosaic neighborhood with bright artwork. There are a lot of indoor and outdoor galleries and local art shops. I bought a lot of souvenirs from Cuba for my friends! The weather hasn't been really sunny these days. It is rather cold and cloudy. But I like such gloomy days. You can stay at home and read a book. And I did it yesterday. I’m going to have tests in German and French next week. Both subjects are my least favourite subjects. I have to revise a lot for the tests. I can’t fail French this time. The test two weeks ago was not very good.

I remember you are studying German now. But I can help you with an essay only in Russian. I am ready to explain to you some grammar rules of the Russian language. I can also tell you how to be creative when writing an essay. Let’s meet online and discuss the details.

It’s almost the end of September. We are going to the flower festival this weekend. I'll tell you about it in the next email.
