-to find opposite adjectives;

-to complete sentences using comparative and superlative

adjectives;

-to complete the table.

II. Developmental : to develop reading, speaking, writing skills and logical

thinking.

III. Cultural: arouse pupils’ interest in learning English

The procedure of the lesson

I.Organization moment.

a) Greeting (1 minute)

T:

• Good afternoon children!

• How are you?

• Ok… Sit down, please. I’m glad to see you.

b) Dialogue with the student, who is on duty (2 minute)

T:

• Who is on duty today?

• Who is absent today?

• What day is it today?

• What date is it today?

II. Warming-up (3 minutes)

III. Presentation of new material (20 minutes)

T: The theme of our lesson I suggest you to guess as you look at the slide 3. Here you have some words. Your task is translate word in Kazakh: big, cheap, expensive, fast, short, new, old, powerful, long, slow, small, tall, young.(слайд 3)

T: Now look at these words and say what part are these words and what is the difference between them. Yes, you are right the theme of our lesson is the adjective and comparison of adjectives

At the end of the lesson you can:

1. describe and compare things

2. enlarge your vocabulary with more adjectives

3. know the parts of computers

T: Ағылшын тіліндегі сын есім (the Adjective) де қазақ тіліндегі секілді анықтамаға ие, яғни, заттың сипатын, сынын, сапасын білдіреді. Мысалы: deep sea – терең теңіз, fresh air – таза ауа.

Сын есімнің екі түрі болады:

1) сапалық (негізгі) сын есім: big – үлкен, tall – биік, small – кішкентай, т.с.с.

2) қатыстық (туынды) сын есім: central – орталық, golden – алтын (алтыннан жасалған), т.с.с.

Қатыстық сын есімдер салыстырмалы шырайда (түрде) болмайды және «very – өте» сөзімен бірге жазылмайды (very central – өте орталық).

Сапалық сын есімдер жай шырайда, салыстырмалы шырайда және күшейтпелі шырайда болады. Мысалы: big (үлкен) – bigger (үлкенірек) – the biggest (ең үлкен). (слайд 4)

Сын есімдердің түрленуі (слайд 5)

Бір буынды сын есімдердің салыстырмалы шырайлысына -er жалғауы, ал күшейтпелі шырайлысына -est жалғауы жалғанады. Күшейтпелі шырайдағы сын есімнің алдына кей жағдайларда the артиклі қойылады (the oldest man in our town (біздің қалашықтағы ең қарт кісі), my the newest socks (менің ең жаңа шұлықтарым)).

Соңы -y әрпіне бітетін бір буынды сын есімнің соңындағы -y әрпі -i әрпіне өзгереді.

Today we’ll revise the material on the theme Adjectives-playing game “ Golden gate”

- What is a gate in Kazakh for ?

- It’s «қақпа» .

-And a Golden gate?

-Aлтын қақпа .

Find and underline adjectives and translate text .

   My favourite painting is in a light oval room with large windows. It was painted by a famous Italian artist. An elegant lady rides a black horse in a beautiful park. Three small funny dogs are running behind them. The woman looks happy and excited. I feel quite warm and comfortable when I look at this old painting.
