Introduction
I decided to write about “Teaching English to young Learners through Traditional and Modern Methods” because I am a teacher, and like all my colleagues at the end of my studies I observed the difference between teaching at school and the model presented to me at the University during my studies. Therefore I decided to do my research and an experiment, which I will describe in my report .
-
THE MAIN NOVELITY OF THE WORK
the comparation of the traditional and modern methods nowadays .This classification gives teachers a helping hand in order to know what kind of the method is better to use for English teaching
THE SPECIFIC TASKS :
1-to give a short review of the terminology of the method
2-to show the difference between the traditional methods and the modern methods
3- to show the possibilities of using methods in Language Teaching nowadays
Arguments in favor of achieved performances
Being a successful English teacher can be difficult, but there are steps which I usually use, to improve students ‘ English :
Developing Lesson Plans
-I choose material that will interest for my students.
-I give homework assignments that help students to understand the material.
Leading Discussions
-I encourage my students to respond to each other. In a discussion, students shouldn't talk to me.
Knowing the Material
- Reading is the best way to discover new material to bring to the classroom.
Developing the Skills in the Classroom
-I always speak in front of the class.
-I am strict but fair. I don't shout at the pupils. I show discipline.
-I make sure my students to understand what I teach.

CONCLUSION :
The testing results after 2 weeks of the learners :
This experiment indicates that traditional teaching
is more successful than modern methodology in terms of spelling and grammar.
However, traditional teaching is more successful in speaking and communication practice
The best thing is be to combine the two methodologies and keep them in balance.
Blackboard and LCD projector can be used simultaneously in a classroom.
Teachers can teach the subject first through traditional methods and then can take the help of modern teaching methods for revising the subject.
