внеурочного занятия по английскому языку

для 6 класса

“In the World of English Songs and Poems”

Первая часть мероприятия.

Дети исполняют песню “If you are happy”

1ведущий: Dear friends. We are glad to see you at our party “In the World of English songs and Poems”. Let us invite you to a house in the country.

2 ведущий: Hurrah! For a day with the farmer

Away in the country so sweet!

Just peep in his beautiful orchard and take a nice apple to eat.

Now come to the farmyard so noisy and hunt for fresh eggs in the hay.

We’ll see the fat turkeys and chickens – all cracking so loudly today.

We’ll peep of the pigs and the horses, then of the meadow we’ll run

To play in the grass in the sunshine and tumble and roll. Oh! What fun!

1ведущий: Oh, look at kind Betty, the milkmaid she’s off to the cowshed,

I see, she will take the new milk to the dairy,

I think there’s a glass full for me.

How lovely and sweet is the country!

How happy the farmer must be!

We all love to pay him a visit, his wonderful farmyard to see.

На сцене появляется декорация – фермерский дом. Выходят оба ведущих и читают стихотворение “The House that Jack Built”. Дети, одетые в соответствующие костюмы, при их упоминании, выбегают на сцену, кланяются и заходят за декорацию «Домик».

На сцене появляется семья английского фермера. Фермер Джек что-то чинит, его жена Полли готовит обед, их дочь Мэри вяжет.

Фермер: This is my house. This is my family.

I am a farmer. My name is Jack.

We live in the country on a farm.

I work very hard from morning till night.

Жена фермера: I am a farmer’s wife. My name is Polly.

I have many things I do: I cook meals, wash, clean the house, care for my daughter.

Дочь фермера: I am a farmer’s daughter. My name is Marry. I am 11 years old.

I like to play. I have some toys: a doll, a ball. I like to run, to jump.

It’s fun to be this

It’s fun to be that

To leap like a lamb

To climb like a cat.

To swim like a fish

To hop like a frog

To trot like a horse

To jump like a dog.

But sometimes I am sad, because I have no pet. I want to have a pet very much.

Слышится стук в дверь (звон колокольчика).

Фермер: Who’s that ringing at my door bell?

Кошка: A little pussy-cat that isn’t very well.

Rub its nose with a little mutton fat.

That’s the best cure for a little pussy cat.

Жена фермера: "Pussy-cat, pussy-cat,
Where have you been?”
Кошка: "I’ve been to London
To look at the Queen.”
Жена фермера: "Pussy-cat, pussy-cat,
What did you there?”
Кошка:"I frightened a little mouse
Under her chair.”

Дочь фермера: (подходит к кошке, гладит её).

I love little Pussy,
Her coat is so warm;
And if I don't hurt her
She'll do me no harm.
So I'll not pull her tail,
Nor drive her away,
But Pussy and I
Very gently will play;
She will sit by my side,
And I'll give her some food;
And pussy will love me because I am good.

(слышится писк мышки)

Кошка: I will help you. I’ll be your pet.

And now I’ll catch a mouse in your house.

I think mice are very nice.

Their tails are long.

Their faces are small.

They haven’t any chins at all.

I think mice are very nice.

После слов кошки начинается игра “Liitle Grey Mouse”-

Дети берут друг друга за руки и ходят по кругу. В центре круга находится мышка, которая просит выпустить её. Дети поют песенку:

Дети: At last, we’ve caught you

Stealing

From our kitchen cupboard.

At last, at last we’ve caught you

And we’ll hold you fast.

(В Канаде эта песенка одна из самых популярных. Хорошо известна она и в других англоязычных странах).

Мышка: Let me go! Let me go!

I took a little bite

Not to eat, just to taste

Won’t you, please, let me go?

Дети: You took the cheese that we

Had wanted for our breakfast

You stole and ate our cheese

And now we have none left.

Мышка: Let me go! Let me go!

I took the cheese because

Doctor says cheese will cure

My bad cold. Hear me cough.

Дети: You took as well a big

Red-ripe delicious apple

You took and ate it up,

And here’s the apple-core!

Мышка: Let me go! Let me go!

“An apple every day”

So they say, so they say

“Keep the doctor away”.

Дети: Hear how she lies and fibs

As if we would believe her

She lies and fibs and we

Must find a cure for her.

Мышка: Let me go! Let me go!

I promise to be good,

Never steal, never lie

Won’t you, please, let me go?

Дети: Now you’ve repented

And have given us your promise

“No lies, no fibs, no stealing

We will let you go.”

Мышка выбегает из круга, рассказывает стихотворение:

Мышка: I’m a brave, brave mouse.

I go marching through the house.

And I’m not afraid of anything.

For danger I’m prepared,

And I’m never, never scared.

Дети: What about a cat?

Кошка: What – a cat?

Дети: Yes a cat!

Big and fat.

Кошка: Well, except for a cat.

Дети: What about a trap?

Кошка: What – a trap?

Дети: Yes a trap!

That goes snap.

Кошка: Well, except for a trap.

Выходит кошка. Кошка и мышка читают стихотворение:

Кошка: Little mouse, little mouse

Where is your house?

Мышка:Little cat, little cat,

I have no flat.

I am a poor mouse,

I have no house.

Кошка: Little mouse, little mouse,

Come to my house.

Мышка: Little cat, little cat,

I cannot do that.

You want to eat me!”

Фермер: It’s 7 o’clock. It’s time to have breaсле слов фермера ребята выходчт на сцену и исполняют песенку:

Put the kettle on.

We’ll all have tea.

Mary take it off again

They’ve all gone away.

Семья фермера завтракает за столом.

Жена фермера: I like ice-cream (указывает на себя)

She likes sweets (указывает на дочь)

I like cookies.

He likes cheese(указывает на фермера)

I like coffee.

He likes tea.

I love you (обращается к фермеру)

Do you love me?

Фермер: Of course, I do. (пауза)

Polly, my wife, and I fell out

And what do you think it was about?

She loved coffee and I loved tea.

And that was the reason. We could not agree.

(Заканчивают завтракать)

Фермер: And now it’s time to work. They say “ The early bird catches the worm.”

(Далее читает стихотворение).

The moon on the one hand,

The dawn on the other;

The moon is my sister

The dawn is my brother.

The moon is on my left,

The dawn is on my right.

My brother, good morning;

My sister, good night.

1 ведущий: Yes, the farmer and his wife have to work hard, because they have a lot of hens, turkeys, sheep, pigs, cows and a horse.They must feed them and look after them.

На сцене появляется новая декорация – лесная поляна, на которую выбегают две овечки и пастух(фермер).

Фермер: Baa-baa, black sheep,

Have you any wool?

Овечки: Yes sir, yes sir

Three bags full.

One for the master

One for the dame

And one for the little girl

Who lives down the lane.

Затем дети играют в игру “Oh, shepherd, oh Shepherd”.

Пастух ушёл далеко, дети уговаривают его вернуться домой, предлагая ему разные кушанья.

Дети: Oh, shepherd, oh shepherd

Will you come home?

Фермер: What have you got for my breakfast

If I do come home this morning?

Дети: Bacon and beans, a bellyful

If you do come home this morning.

Фермер: My sheep they are all in the wilderness

So I cannot come home this morning.

Дети: Oh shepherd, oh shepherd will you come home

To your dinner this afternoon?

Фермер: What have you got for my dinner

If I do come home this afternoon?

Дети:Pudding and beef, a bellyful

If you do come home this afternoon.

Фермер: My sheep they are all in the wilderness

So I cannot come home this morning.

Дети: Oh shepherd, oh shepherd will you come home

To your supper tonight?

Фермер:What have you got for my supper

If I do come home tonight?

Дети:Bread and cheese, a bellyful

If you do come home tonight.

Фермер: My sheep they are all in the wilderness

So I cannot come home tonight.

Затем дети исполняют шотландский народный танец.

Все дети выходят на сцену и прощаются со зрителями.

1 ведущий: “Farewell to the Farm” (by R. L. Stevenson)

The coach is at the door at last;

The eager children, mounting fast

And kissing hands, in chorus sing:

Good-bye, good-bye, to everything!

To house and garden, field and lawn,

The meadow-gates we swang upon,

To pump and stable, tree and swing,

Good-bye, good-bye, to everything!

And fare you well for evermore,

O ladder at the hayloft door,

O hayloft where the cobwebs cling,

Good-bye, good-bye, to everything!

Crack goes the whip, and off we go;

The trees and houses smaller grow;

Last, round the woody turn we sing:

Good-bye, good-bye, to everything!

Вторая часть мероприятия.

Детям предлагаются игры на английском языке.

“Gossip”

Дети садятся в ряд на стулья. Один из крайних ребят – ведущий. Он шепчет на ухо своему соседу какое-то предложение по-английски. Второй ученик шепчет на ухо третьему это же предложение (так, как он его услышал) и так далее до конца ряда. Затем каждый ученик, начиная с последнего, произносит вслух предложение, которое он услышал.

“Blind Man”

Все ребята, взявшись за руки, становятся в круг. Водящий с завязанными глазами стоит в центре круга. Дети передвигаются по кругу и поют (или говорят) следующую песенку:

Blind man, blind man

Sure you can’t see!

Turn round three times

And try to catch me.

Во время исполнения песенки водящий выполняет те команды, о которых говорится в ней. После заключительных слов песенки водящий пытается поймать одного из участников, а ребята, держась за руки, пытаются уклониться от водящего.

Пойманный ученик становится водящим. Игра продолжается.

“London Bridge”.

Двое самых высоких ребят берутся за руки, поднимают их высоко и образуют «мост». Предварительно каждый из них загадывает какое – либо слово (например, пирог и пирожное, река и гора, серебро и золото и т. д.) Остальные участники игры становятся друг за другом и проходят «по мосту через арку» (то есть под руками водящих). При этом они поют следующее:

London bridge is falling down,

Falling down, falling down,

My fair lady.

После этого водящие продолжают песенку:

I caught one,

I caught two,

I caught many

And I caught you.

При слове “you” «мост» падает на того, кто в это время проходил по нему. Пойманному ученику предлагается выбрать один из двух предметов. (Do you want a pie or a cake? Do you choose a pie or a cake?) Ученик отвечает на вопрос и становится за спиной того водящего, которого он выбрал. Игра продолжается.
