Описание разработки

The procedure of the competition:

I. Organization moment.

Teacher: Good afternoon, children and our guests! I’m very glad to see you here. Now we shall organize a competition called “Star’s hour”.

- Today all of you have a good chance to improve your English during the game. I hope you’ll enjoy our competition.

Let me introduce you the juries to count the points of our competition. They are: ______________ .

- Well, let’s start our competition. Our competition consists of 8 rounds:

1. Star’s of “Article “A/An”

2. Star’s of “Noun”

3. Star’s of “Numeral”

4. Star’s of “Adjective”

5. Star’s of “Verb “to be”

6. Star’s of “Modal verb “Should”

7. Star’s of “to be going to”

8. Star’s of “There is / There are”.

1. Star’s of “Article “A/An”

The pirate prepares two trunks for us. We should divide these words into trunks with correct article a/an.

Now, pupils look at the interactive board:

- table                           apple

- book                           pencil

- egg                             pen

- orange                        dog

2. Star’s of “Noun”.

- Now, pupils divided this words countable and uncountable nouns:

picture, apple, snow, water, milk, music, orange, car, money, pear, salt, dress, egg, chocolate, pen, door, window, dog, rain, table, coffee, book, lamp, sugar, sofa, butter, bread, juice.

3. Star’s of “Numeral.

- Now, pupils say the numerals:

- Now, pupils work with cards. Complete the degrees of adjectives:

5. Star’s of “Verb “to be”.

- Now, pupils look who is it? (It is the verb “to be” – am, is, are ). And, of course we should do the task:

I ____ Kazakh.                                  I ____ a pupil.

We ___ married.                               He ___ a doctor.

It ____ cheap.                                    We ___ pupils.

They ____ teachers.                         They __ children.

Theme of competition: Star’s hour

Aims:

1. Оқушылардың білімдік дағдыларын байқау;

2. Оқушыларды тез ойлауға, есте сақтауға, өз ойын жан - жақты толық жеткізуге, дұрыс сөйлеуге баулу;

3. Өзін емін еркін ұстай білуге, мәдениетті деңгейде ойын, пікірін жеткізе білуге үйрету.

Visual aids: cards, numerals, picture, interactive board.

Now, pupils work with cards. Complete the sentences modal verb: “Should”

  5. You ____ English.


7. Star’s of “to be going to”. \

- Now, pupils look at the blackboard. Read Dmitry’s plan. Complete the sentences:

  1. Dmitry ___ (to travel) all over America.

  2. I ___ (to study) in America.

  3. I ___ (to see) the places of interest in America.

  4. Dmitry ___ (to plant) trees and flowers.

  5. Dmitry ___ (to play) basketball and tennis.


Read Colin’s plan. Complete the sentences:

  1. Colin ___ (to travel) all over Kazakhstan.

  2. I ___ (to study) in Astana.

  3. I ___ (to see) the places of interest in Astana.

  4. Colin ___ (to plant) trees around Astana.

  5. Colin ___ (to play) football.


8. Star’s of “There is / There are”.

- Now, pupils look at the picture. Let’s describe it. There is Colin’s room.



Conclusion:
That is all for today. you were active. Thank you for your work. I hope you’ve liked our competition. Three teams were very good. But the team…… is the winner. Let us congratulate them. Good - bye, everybody!
