How to express future! Future Simple – will + V. (It’s hot. I’ll open the window) – on-the-spot decision Am/is/are going to + V. (We’re going to sell the house) – planned action or intention.  (The sky is grey. It’s going to rain) – prediction based on what we can see Present Continuous – am/is/are + Ving. (I’m seeing my friends tomorrow) – fixed arrangement in the near future. Present Simple – V/Vs. (The train leaves at nine o’clock.) - timetable

How to express future!

  • Future Simple – will + V. (It’s hot. I’ll open the window) – on-the-spot decision
  • Am/is/are going to + V. (We’re going to sell the house) – planned action or intention.
  • (The sky is grey. It’s going to rain) – prediction based on what we can see
  • Present Continuous – am/is/are + Ving. (I’m seeing my friends tomorrow) – fixed arrangement in the near future.
