Aim: to continue working with the Unit “My flat”, to develop speaking skills, to remember using the structure there is/there are.
Objectives:
Educational:
1) to support the interest to the English lesson so that pupils work hard
2) to concentrate student’s attention on new important theme so that they be very attentive and involved in the theme
3) to carry out the quiz, so that students show their knowledge on the grammatical structure there is/there are
Developing:
1) to develop mental activity of the students so that they apply their knowledge of the vocabulary in speaking
2) to develop creative activity of the students so that they can make up short dialogues
Upbringing: To bring up the love to their room and to develop such qualities as cleanliness and accuracy
Equipment: English book for 5th grade (T.Ayapova) ; Power Point Presentation for the lesson; tasks for quiz.

1. Greeting.
Good afternoon pupils!
Today we are going to continue working with the theme “My flat”. On this lesson we will compare rooms in your flats (houses) and find out why they are better or worse than other rooms. Also we will remember using the structure there is/there are so that we will make up some interrogative and negative sentences.

2. Warm–up.
But first of all, please answer my questions:
What date is it today?
Where are you from?
How are you?
Do you like your flat (house)?
How many rooms are there in your house (flat)?
What are they?
What are there in your living room?
What are there in your room?
3. Speaking.
Now open the book on p.110. Look at the Ex.1. Match the words with the pictures. Let’s check. Now you are to fill the table: which room do the words go with? Let’s check. Bekzat, please, start. Yes you are right. So thank you, very good.
