закрепление понятий «наука и технологии», введение НЛЕ, развитие навыков говорения, аудирования, чтения, грамматики и фонетики.

Оборудование:

учебник английского языка для 9 класса (авторы: О. В. Афанасьева, И. В. Михеева; издательство «Дрофа»), аудиозаписи к курсу, магнитофон, тетради.

План урока.

1. Введение.

Приветствие. Оформление тетрадей.

Let’s begin our lesson.

The theme of our lesson is “Science and Technology”.

2. At the beginning of our lesson let’s remember the next problems: “What is Science?

What is Technology?”

Open your textbooks: ex. 3 on p. 124. Let’s listen to the text “What is Science and What is Technology?” and remember it. (Please, look at the text. )

Now translate the following sentences and word combinations.

The next task is ex. 4 p. 125. Let’s answer the questions (1, 2, 3, 9)

3. Let’s remember or learn some facts about Industrial Revolutions.

Read the text “Did you know that …?” Look at the top of the page 125. (Who wants to read? Please, … read the text).

What is about this text? What information do you understand? Give us the short retelling of this text in Russian, please.

4. Let’s remember some sciences and technologies. Ex. 5B on page 126.

You must match these sciences and technologies. Do this task in your notebooks. Write numbers and letters. You have some minutes. Please, begin your work.

Are you ready? Let’s check the task. What are your pairs of the words? Read the pairs of words.

5. Now remember the grammar. Look at “Focus on Grammar”, p. 126

Ex. 6 p. 126

Now you have a little test. You have 4 minutes. Do the numbers: 5, 6, 7, 8.

Close your notebooks and give them to me.

6. Learn some new words. Ex. 5 on page 132. Listen to the tape and repeat.

7. Your home task is: ex. 5 p. 132 (read, translate and learn new words) ; ex. 7 p. 134 (complete the text with the new words)
