Тема урока: Одежда и мода

Цель урока: развитие навыков аудирования и устной речи( способности монологически и диалогически высказываться по теме урока)

Задачи

1.познакомить учащихся с лексикой для описания одежды и стиля

2. научить выражать оценочные выражения о стиле одежды человека

3.развивать умение вести дискуссию в группах по предложенным вопросам

1.Организационныймомент.Приветствие

Teacher: Goodmorning, girlsandboys. I am glad to see you. How are you? I hope you’re OK and we can start our lesson. There are some guests at the lesson.Let’s greet them .

2. Обозначение темы урока

Включается видео заставка шоу «Модный приговор»

Teacher: Look at the screen. Do you know this music? Have you ever seen this TV show? What is it’s name?

Students: Modern verdict.

Teacher: Well.what are we going to speak about today?

Students: We are going to speak about clothes.

Teacher: That’s true. Let’s look at the board and discuss what we will do during our lesson.

During our lesson we will

- make a dialogue about clothes

- speak about favorite clothes and fashion styles

- remember styles,patterns and materials of clothes

- look at a fashion show

3. First of all I’d like you to answer some questions:

• Are you fond of fashion?

• What clothes do you prefer?

• Who usually chooses clothes for you?

• Is it important to wear proper clothes?

• Do you like people’s clothes in the streets?

• What do you wear to school?

• What do you wear to the party?

4. If you look at the board, you will read the quotation of a great Russian writer Anton Chekhov

«Everything about a human being should be beautiful: his face, his clothes, his mind and his thoughts»

-Do you know any English or Russian proverbs about clothes?

1) First you judge «how nice», then you judge «how wise».

2) Clothes do not make the man.

3) Tastes differ.

Teacher: Before we will speak about different fashion tendencies, let’s remember the words on the topic “Clothes”. Look at the board. There are some words. What logical groups do you see?

• We see three logical groups: «Pattern», «Style», «Material».

-That’s right. Different clothes are made of various materials. What kind of materials do you know?

Учащиеся называют материалы из которых изготавливают ткани.

- Usually materials have got patterns. Let’snamethem.

Учащиеся читают и называют рисунки тканей.

- Style is very important for everyone, who wants to look excellent and feel comfortable in any weather and on any occasion. Let’s define some of the most known styles.

6. ) Let’s revise our words on the theme « Clothes »

Учащиеся читают слова, составляют предложения. Клише даны на карточках и лежат на каждой парте.

I'd love to have (a lot of modern clothes/more colourful dresses/shirts/clothes)...

Model 1: I like this checked coat. She looks lovely. As for me, this coat is in fasion nowadays

Model 2: I don’t think this floral dress for her. I don’t like such bright colours. It looks terrible

Model 3:This is a smart style. It looks great. It is in fashion now. But I don’t think that we can wear it every day

Model 4: This stripped suit looks great. I like this material and pattern. I think.that such pattern is trendy/ become popular again.

8. Most of you like to go to a dance or birthday parties, don’t you? And you want to look classy, right? So you are going to a party.And you can’t decide what to wear.You ask your friend to help.Let’s read the dialogue in pairs and then make up your own dialogue on the situations,which are given you on your desks.Don’t forget to be tolerant. (situations: going to the cinema, to the party, to the restaurant, shopping)

Сильные учащиеся составляют свой диалог с опорой на диалог на партах .Слабые ученики составляют из вырезаннных клише диалог и зачитывают его.Во время прослушивания диалогов, учащиеся оценивают диалоги своих одноклассников(на листочках)

A: I don't know what to wear to the party! Can you help me, please?

B: What do you fancy wearing? Something casual, smart or trendy?

A: Something trendy would be good.

B: I like those black leggings. You could wear them with this long purple top.

A: And I have earrings to match as well. Good idea!
