LESSON 12 THE PUB

Цель: знакомство с новыми словами, актуализация лексических навыков по теме «Пивная» с использованием рецептивных видов (чтения, аудирования) и продуктивных видов (говорения) языковой деятельности.

Warm-up

Студенты называют слова по теме «Пивная». Преподаватель выписывает их на доску.

Lead-in (знакомство с новыми словами):

1)a barman (bartender) – бармен

2) the bar – бар

3) a pint glass – пинта пива

4) a bar counter – барная стойка

5) a slice of lemon – ломтик лимона

6) a bar stool – барный стул

7) a packet of crisps – пакет чипсов

8) ice (rocks) – лёд

9) a landlord (landlady) – хозяин (хозяйка)

10) peanuts – арахис

11) a round of drinks – выпивка

12) a table – стол

13) toilets – туалет

• Can I smoke here?

• Is there a non-smoking section?

• Do you have darts here?

• Is there a pool table?

• Do you serve food?

• Sorry, but smoking is prohibited here.

• The smoking section is at the back.

• The toilets are down the stairs and on the right.

• Last orders, please (This means the pub is about to close, so you have to order quickly.)

• Time, ladies and gentlemen (This means the pub is closing, so you have to stop drinking.)

Sally is in the pub getting drinks. – Салли в пабе заказывает напитки.

Sally: Good evening.

Barman: Evening. What can I get you?
