Aims: To promote formation of abilities to speak about animals, to divide their on species.

Objectives: To promote

- To formation of knowledge of lexical units on the theme, of using modal verb can.

- To development of L, S, W, R skills

- To education of tolerance relationship to animals.

Questions:

T: First, who are on duty today? What date is it today? Who is absent? Good for you.

Game: “Step by step”. Make step and say 1 animal.

For each answer – 0,5 point.

Show your favourite animal and tell about it.

Presentation

Work with words: wild, domestic, mammals, birds, reptiles, insects, farm, pets.

Let’s divide animals on groups: wild and domestic.

Wild animals are divided on mammals, birds, reptiles, insects.

Domestic animals are divided on pets and farm animals.

Cat, hen, dog, fox, frog, owl, butterfly, bear, cow, monkey, giraffe, rabbit, snake, zebra, tiger, horse, lion, grasshopper, fly, spider, lizard, swallow, goose, sparrow. Modal verb – can.

Cat can run.

Monkey can jump.



Each other estimation: for 1 right group– 3 point (6-12)


Practice

Game: make riddle. You need take picture on the theme “animals”, describe it, others pupils need answer what animal is it.

P. 38, ex. 2 – read text. Make a poster and protect it.

Each other estimation: for 1 word – 1 point, for 1 riddle – 1 point.

Group estimation: If you

are active - 1 point, protect poster – 1 point, translate text – 1 point, give ideas – 1 point, write and draw – 1 point.


H/T

Ex. 7, p. 40 – make tables, learn words
