DOES THE BIBLE ALLOW TO HATE?
by Ivan Petryshyn
I verified three sources in three languages: English, Italian and Ukrainian.
Here, what the sources say:
English:
One can hate the wrong-doers, the evil-doers and the wicked ( Psalms 26:5);
“you shall not hate your country fellow in your heart” (Leviticus 19:16-18);
(http://bibleanswerstand.org/hate.htm)
Italian:
“hate the bad” (Amos 5, 15);
hate the enemies of God (Psalm 139: 21-22);
(https://riformati.wordpress.com/2013/03/16/un-cristiano-puo-odiare-oltre-che-amare/)
Ukrainian:
“if a Christian, who acts in the limits of the law and in extreme situations that are conditioned by his service responsibilities, kills, he is righteous in the eyes of God and in the eyes of the people” ( CREDO http://www.credo-ua.org/2014/08/121204)
So, we have the right to hate:
a/ the evil-doers (who are against Human Rights and the Laws) ;
b/ the wicked;
c/ the bad;
d/ the enemies of God;
e/ those who invade, conquer, capture, kidnap, enslave, start killing first- the revenge onto those who deprive others of their Rights and/or Lives is righteous and has an acquittal.
