Distribution the tiger.
The range of this tiger is concentrated in a protected area in South-Eastern Russia, on the banks of the rivers Amur and Ussuri rivers in the Khabarovsk and Primorsky regions.
Most of all Amur tigers are common in the foothills of the Sikhote-Alin in Lazovsky district of the Primorsky region, where a relatively small area lives every six wild Siberian tiger (2003).
It is expected to resettle the Amur tigers in the Russian Pleistocene Park in Yakutia.
Description.
The Amur tiger is the largest subspecies, the coat is thicker than the tigers living in warmer areas, and its color lighter. The main colour of the coat in the winter — orange, belly white.
Lifestyle.
The Amur tiger is the Lord of vast territories, the area of which the female is 300-500 km2, and the male — 600-800 km2. If the limits of their possessions feed enough, tiger does not leave its territory. With a lack of game increases the number of attacks by tigers on livestock and dogs. The Siberian tiger is active at night.
