Цель: развитие иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции по теме экологические проблемы.
Задачи:
Образовательные:
приобщение учащихся к проблемам окружающей среды;
обучение учащихся умению применять полученные знания при решении экологических проблем;
развитие навыков чтения с извлечением конкретной информации и детальным пониманием;
расширение кругозора учащихся;
формирование понимания необходимости заботиться о нашей планете.

развитие памяти, мышления.
Воспитывающие:
воспитание умения группового взаимодействия и уважения к партнерам по команде;
воспитание способности к рефлексии.

Ход урока.
1. Организационный момент.
Good morning. Glad to see you. Sit down. How are you today?
2. Постановка цели урока.
Look at these pictures and try to guess what we are going to speak about.
P1: deforestation
P2: ecological problems
P3: environment
3. Работа с лексикой по теме.
You’re right. So, today we are going to speak about ecological and environmental problems and the ways of helping our planet. On your desks you see cards with English words on ecology. (В каждой группе 4 ученика)
And your task is read the meaning and guess the words:
- the cutting down of large areas of trees.( deforestation)
- a large thick forest of tall trees in an area with hot wet weather(tropical rainforest (n)
- a method of farming that involves cutting down all the trees and burning all the plants and farming for a short time and then moving on and doing it again(slash and burn (phr)

Look through the text and complete the sentences in your notebook.(стр.59№2)
7.Релаксация – как элемент здоровье - сберегающей технологии.
Now, let’s relax. Close your eyes and relax your entire body.... Take a slow, deep breath...now exhale with a slight sigh. Take another slow breath... and exhale. Now think of a place that is special to you.... It might be in your backyard or in your neighborhood, or a place you go on holiday every year.... It is a place where you can relax and think and where you enjoy being.... Think about the smells of that place...the sounds you hear...the things you see around you.... Pay attention to how you feel in your special place.... Notice what's around you...there may be trees, a lake or ocean, people, mountains.... Pay particular attention to whether or not there is any water in your special place.... Now imagine that your special place changes — if your place has water in it, imagine that all of a sudden the water is completely gone. If your special place has no water, imagine that it now has lots and lots of water.... Imagine what your special place is like now — what sounds do you hear?.... What do you see around you?.... Think about how your special place looks now and remember what you see and feel.... When you are ready, open your eyes. What was your special place like with and without water? How did you feel when your special place was changed?
8. Монологические высказывания. Развитие навыка устной речи.
Imagine plants and trees could talk. What could they tell us about deforestation? In three minutes write a few sentences. Tell the class.
9.Заключительный этап урока. Рефлексия деятельности.
Учитель предлагает учащимся составить синквейн.
And our task is to summarize everything we know about the ecology
We have to make only 5 points:
1. What are we talking today about?
(1 word)-ecology
2. Give me 2 adjectives characterizing the ecology.
dangerous, polluted
3. Give me 3 verbs.
pollute,pour, cut
4. Give a sentence , describing the event.
Our planet should be save to live on.
5.Give me only one word, a synonym of the word environment
Учащиеся составляют синквейн, затем идет представление синквейна перед классом.
10.Подведение итогов.Выставление оценок.
In conclusion, I believe that all of us must do our best to be green and as environmentally friendly as possible. The whole future of the planet is in our hands. That’s why I’d like to present you the pot with plant and it will be the first step to adopt a piece of the earth! Thank you for the lesson. I hope you’ll use the information you have got today!
