Внеклассное мероприятие по английскому языку в 5 классе

игра «I know everything».

Цель игры: развивать неподготовленную речь учащихся, обобщить знания учащихся, полученные на уроках английского языка.

Задачи: закрепить знания учащихся,

развивать умение работать в коллективе и принимать совместное решение; развивать положительные личностные качества;

воспитывать уважение к культуре своей страны и стран изучаемого языка.

Оформление кабинета:

На доске название игры «I know everything», флаги англоязычных стран, карта СК Великобритании и Северной Ирландии, правила игры, квадрат с цифрам, перечень конкурсов.

Ход занятия.

Организационный момент. Приветствие ведущего.

Teacher: Good afternoon, children and our guests! I’m very glad to see you here. Now we shall organize a competition called “ I know everything”. Two teams will take part in a game of the most quick-witted and the cleverest. It’s time to introduce yourselves. Who is the captain of the 1^st team?

P1: I’m the captain of the team. The name of our team is “Stars”.

Teacher: Who is the captain of the 2^nd team?

P2: I’m the captain of the team. The name of our team is “Space”.

P 3: I’m the captain of the team. The name of our team is “Sport”.

(Состав команд, их названия определяются заранее).

Teacher: Today all of you have a good chance to improve your English during the game. I have invited a competent jury to count the points. The members of our jury are your teachers and pupil of 11^th form

Now I’m going to teach you how to play this game. The game has 8 contests, they are:

1. The ABC game.

2. A magic 5.

3. Parts and wholes.

4. Proverbs and sayings.

5. Hidden words.

6. A tongue-twister.

7. The right choice.

8. Inventions and discoveries.

1. Well, I wish you success. Be active, honest and helpful!

Основной этап.

Teacher: And now we come to the 1^st contest of the game called “The ABC game”. Kids, you’ll get some letters from the English alphabet. You must put the letters in the right order, so as to get the name of the English-speaking country.

You have 1 minute at your disposal. Each team can get 5 points.

(Карточки с буквами: 1. Е, N, G, L, A, N, D. 2. A, M, E, R, I, C, A 3. Canada 4. New Zealand.)

Quiz-master: And now we come to the 2^nd contest which is called “A magic 5”. Look at the square, each team will take turns in answering questions. You’ll choose any number. Captains will have an opportunity to choose the number. (Капитан выбирает номер задания, и команда отвечает)

You can get 5 points for the right answer.

1. Say or sing the English alphabet. (рассказать алфавит)

2. Name 5 colors. (Назвать 5 цветов)

3. Name 5 sorts of vegetables.( 5 сортов овощей)

4. Name 5 school subjects. ( 5 школьных предметов)

5. You’re lucky! You won a prize!

6. Name 5 sorts of fruit. (5 сортов фруктов)

7. Name 5 sports. ( 5 видов спорта)

8. Name 5 professions. ( 5 названий профессии)

9. Name 5 things that people wear.( 5 предметов одежды)

10. Name 5 wild animals. ( 5 животных)

Дети быстро и весело отвечают на вопросы, члены команды помогают друг другу, если вытягивается номер 5, команда просто получает 5 очков.

Teacher: The 3^rd contest is called “Parts and wholes”. I need 1 pupil from each team. You should combine these parts so as to get a popular name. Who will be the first? You can get 1 point for each right answer.

Любимые герои мультиков.

Командам нужно соединить части имен мультипликационных героев. Задание выполняют все команды одновременно.

Teacher: Our next contest is called “Proverbs and sayings”. Each team will get a list of words. You should rearrange the words so as to make up a proverb. You have 2 minutes.

(Обе команды получают одинаковый набор слов, из которых должны получиться 3 английские пословицы).

1. Better late than never. Лучше поздно , чем никогда.

2. Two heads are better than one. Одна голова хорошо, а две лучше.

3. East or West home is best. В гостях хорошо, а дома лучше.

4. Задание «Кто хочет стать миллионером?».

Команды выбирают правильный ответ из предложенных. Задание выполняют все команды одновременно.

5. Конкурс «Составь слова».

Из слова grandmother командам нужно составить как можно больше слов. Задание команды выполняют одновременно.

Teacher: The contest is called “The right choice”. It’s very important to make the right choice in our life: the right choice of a color, a hobby, a friend. Each team should answer my questions. You’ll get the cards with the letters a, b, c. Choose the right answer and show us the card.
