The journey around the healthy stations.
Путешествие по станциям здоровья.
Цели:
Обучающие: (ориентированные на достижение предметных результатов обучения):
- уметь применять освоенные лексические единицы на практике; вести разговор и сообщать медицинскому работнику о проблемах здоровья, давать советы по ведению здорового образа жизни;
- развивать лингвистическую и соцокультурную компетенции.
Развивающие: (ориентированные на достижение метапредметных результатов обучения):
- развивать коммуникативные универсальные учебные действия (УУД) через все виды речевой деятельности;
- развивать познавательные УУД (умение работать с ИКТ, видео);
- развивать воображение при моделировании ситуаций общения.
Воспитательные: (ориентированные на достижение личностных результатов обучения, формирование личностных УУД):
- способствовать осознанию возможностей самореализации средствами иностранного языка;
- воспитывать валеологическую культуру: осознание обучающимися ценности здорового образа жизни, формирование осознанного отношения к выбору рациона здорового питания, к личной гигиене, формирование установки на занятия физической культурой и спортом, профилактика различных заболеваний и табакокурения.
Оборудование: видеофильм, карточки-опоры, реквизиты для диалогов, продукты для приготовления блюд.
Ход мероприятия:
2. Мотивация учащихся (Учитель приносит яблоко на мероприятие).
Guys, what is it? Do you like apples? Why? How do you think, why have I brought an apple to our lesson?
British people say: «An apple a day keeps doctor away». Translate it!
Is the apple tasty?
Is all tasty food healthy?
Another proverb is: «Tell me what you eat and I`ll tell you what you are». Translate this proverb please!
How do you think what is the theme of our lesson? Называется тема и цель урока.
Слайд 1. Ведущий: Good morning children and guests! Today we`ll have a journey around the healthy stations. The main aim of our journey is to answer the question: What should we do to keep fit and healthy? Two teams are going to travel today. Let them introduce themselves.
Слайд 2. The 1st team:
Our team is named “La Tomatina”. Our motto is: “We are ready for the journey!” All members of our team enjoy fruits and vegetables like apples, bananas, oranges, tomatoes, cucumbers and carrots. We don`t like meat, roast chickens and sausages. We have three meals a day – breakfast, lunch and dinner, sleep 8-9 hours, don`t play computer games, that`s why we are fit and healthy.

Our team is named “The Big Ice Cream”. Our motto is: “I scream, you scream, we all scream for the ice cream!” All members of our team are sweet teeth. We enjoy eating sweet things like chocolate, cakes, pies, rolls and different kinds of ice cream. But we all like doing sport, that`s why we are not overweight.
Слайд 4. Ведущий: Well children, you are welcome to the 1st station “The picture of a healthy man”.
The 1st task is “The Interview”. The correspondent of the Youth magazine comes to us and wants to ask you some questions.
The correspondent: Let me introduce myself. My name is … Can you answer my questions, please? You may use these words in your answers. (учащимся при необходимости предлагаются карточки-опоры со словами)
What is your build? (medium/ slim/overweight).
How often do you go on diets? (often/sometimes/never).
How much chocolate and cakes do you eat? (a lot/ a little/ don`t eat).
How many fruits and vegetables do you eat? (a lot/ a few/ don`t like).
How many meals do you have every day? (one/two/three/four).
Do you like the dishes in your school canteen?
Are the dishes in your school canteen various?
How many times a week do you do sport?

The 2nd task is “Describe the picture”. (Командам было заранее дано задание подготовить монологическое высказывание по теме).
“The Big Ice Cream” describe the picture of a pupil of your school.
“La Tomatina” describe the picture of a sportsman.

I am a sportsman. I do karate. I’m medium build, but I go on diets sometimes. That’s because I used to be overweight. I eat a lot of cake and chocolate, but I eat a lot of fruit and vegetables, too. I don’t really like drinking water, but I drink a little every day – lunch and dinner. I never eat breakfast. A normal lunch for me is pasta and salad. In the evening, I eat chicken or steak with rice and vegetables. I often drink two or three glasses of juice.
I am a student of school №4. I’ve always been slim, so I never go on diets. However, I don’t eat much cake or chocolate and I eat a lot of fruit and vegetables. I also drink a lot of water during the day. I eat three meals every day – breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A normal breakfast for me is two pieces of toast and some fruit. I usually have a sandwich and an apple for lunch. In the evening, I eat chicken or pasta, and salad or vegetables. However, I often drink a glass of coke.

Слайд 9. Ведущий. Well , children , you`ve bought some food and now you are welcome to the 3rd station. It is named “Who is the best cook?”
1. The 1st task is

* take the necessary food and make your own dish.
* read your resipies and describe the process of making a dish.
How do you think , who is the best cook?
I think both teams are the best. Your dishes are delicious! They are tasty and smart.

You have to watch the film and try to answer the questions.

4) What is the traditional British dish?
Слайд 11. Ведущий. Unfortunately, there are a lot of sick children nowadays. They `ve got different problems: overweight, underweight, tiredness, lack of concentration, stomachache, tooth decay, frequent cold and so on. Today everybody speaks about healthy food, but there are a lot of children who eat unhealthy food too, and the result of it … they have to see a doctor.
And our next station is “At the doctor’s”.

Good morning. What`s the matter?
Doctor, I don`t feel well. I`ve eaten a lot of crisps, chocolate and I`ve drunk a bottle of cola.
Show me, where? A stomachache?
Oh, doctor, don`t touch me, please!
I`m afraid you `re seriously ill. Sweets, crisps and cola don`t keep you healthy.
Should I stay home from school?
Of course, you can`t go out and you should drink these tablets with hot milk.
Thank you, doctor. I hope, I`ll get better soon.

2. Make the summary resolutions and answer the main question:

/можно предложить учащимся cоздать дерево советов, выбрать соответствующие карточки и прикрепить на дерево, выбрать из предложенных картинок здоровые продукты и прикрепить на дерево, а затем ответить на вопрос: What does this tree mean?/
Eat fresh fruit and vegetables 4-5 times a day.
Don`t eat onions and garlic.
Not eat cakes and sweets every day or only eat them 2-3 times a week.
Play computer games and watch TV less than 2 hours a day.
Stay at home, don`t go for a walk.
Sleep 8 to 9 hours a day.
Eat a lot of ice cream, pies and other sweet things.
Go to the gym or do regulary exercises at home.
Don`t smoke!
Remember “An apple a day keep a doctor away!”
Ведущий. Well children, I think you should remember everything we`ve said today at the lesson and follow these advices. I wish you and our guests to keep fit and healthy!
