I like to go to school”


The theme of the lesson: I like to go to school.

The aims of the lesson: 1. To teach pupils to use different structures in speeches.

2. To train pupils to use new lexical words and structures in speech.

3. To teach to make up dialogues.

The audio-visual aids: pictures, cards, dictionary, tape-recorder.

The type of the lesson: practical lesson (Oral comprehension, describe the picture and so on)

The connection with other languages: Russian language.


Plan

I The beginning of the lesson.

a) Dialogue between pupils and teacher:

Teacher: Good morning pupils

Pupils: Good morning teacher

T.: How are you pupils?

P.: Fine, thanks, and you?

T.: Fine Thank you. Sit down. Who is on duty today?

P.: I am on duty today.

T.: Who is absent?

P.: All are present.

T.: Thank you. Sit down. What day is it today?

P.: Today is Wednesday.

T.: What date is it today?

P.: Today is the 2314,1 of January

b) To pay attention to the condition of the classroom.

c) The aim of our lesson is to show the knowledge on theme "I like to go to school"

II Checking up the home work.

T.: What kind of home work 1 given you?

P.: Our home work was to learn by hard the verse “I love going to school”

T.: And now pupils answer to my questions, please.

  2. What kind of proverbs do you know?

III Speech drill exercise.

T.: Now pupils we will do speech drill exercise (orally). I’ll ask questions and you have to answer on them.

  5. What is the weather like today?

  6. How many letters in English alphabet?

  2. V Games

  3. We know all the words of our lesson, that’s why I offer you to play the games. I’ll choose the cards, I’ll read the meaning of the words. And you have to find out the meaning of the words. Game №1. Find out the meaning of the words.

  4. Teacher - She or he can help us to study very well and to be clever.

  5. School - We go there every day except Sunday. It has three floors.

  6. Lesson - It continues 45 minutes. We read and write on it.

  7. Break - At that time we can play in the school yard. We can talk with friends during it. Gymnasium - There we can play interesting sport games as basketball, volleyball and other games.

  8. Library - We can find very many interesting books there. I like to go there to read books. Dining-room - When we are hungry, we usually go there.

  9. The first game was very interesting. Let’s play the game №2. In this game we will make the dialogues using the pictures about professions and then we can change professions. The names of professions: doctor, worker, teacher, driver, engineer, cook.

  10. Game №2. Making the dialogues. Use the pictures about professions.

  11. And next game №3. Pupils will split the balloon and then will show us the riddles by their demonstrations.

  12. Game №3. To demonstrate the riddles.

  13. The words for riddles: eat, cry, think, write, run, sleep, dance, drink, ring, swim.

  14. Thank you for your activity, Thai 's all. All our games was very interesting. And now pupils open your hook at page 121. Find out the text "Our school". I'll give you 3 minutes, you have to read it then you have to answer to my questions.

  1. Read the text “Our school” and answer to the questions:

  1. What kind of school is it?

  2. How many floors has this school?

  3. Has this school gymnasium, school-hall, library, dining-room?

  4. Has this school flowers garden in front of it?

  5. Do you like this school?

  1. OK. We have known about this school. Let's speak about our school. Here you see the picture of our school. One pupil may go to the blackboard and describe our school.
