Закрепление и применение изученного материала (степени сравнения прилагательных)

Воспитание любви к животным и природе
Познакомить учеников с самыми необычными животными на планете
Оборудование: учебник Л.М. Лапицкая и др. «English. Pupil’s book 4 класс», телевизор, картинки животных,игрушки, презентация, компьютер.
Тип урока: комбинированный
Ход урока
I. Организационный момент
Good morning, pupils. Sit down, please. Let’s start our lesson.
II. Постановка целей и задач урока
Today we will learn some new names of the animals and revise grammar rule about adjectives.
III. Фонетическая зарядка
But at first let’s start with a phonetic drill.
I can go to the zoo
I can see a kangaroo
I can feed a hare
I can draw a bear
IV. Речевая зарядка. Введение в тему урока.
We speak today about animals.
Do you know which is the biggest animal in the world?
Which is the fastest?
Which is kinder a dog or a crocodile?
Which is more beautiful a frog or a rabbit?
V. Введение новой лексики
Now look at the screen and repeat the words after me all together and let’s translate these words into Russian.
Cheetah – гепард
Whale – кит
Collie – колли
Python – питон
Sloth – ленивец
Piranha – пиранья
Elephant – слон
Monkey – обезьяна
Giraffe – жираф
Now you’ll read these words one by one.
Put these words down in your vocabularies.

VII. Тренировка и закрепление новой лексики
1. Show the animal
Here on the blackboard you can see the images of animals (Приложение 1), now one of you will come to the blackboard and the others will ask him animal’s names and he should show them.
2. The crossword
Now look at the screen and let’s do the crossword.
VIII. Активизация изученного лексико-грамматического материала, развитие устной речи.
1. Now we’ll watch the video about the most beautiful animals in the world. Look at the screen please. After that you’ll answer some my questions.
Were there any animals we’ve learnt today at the lesson?
Which of all these animals do you like the most?
Which is the most beautiful in your opinion?
2. And now we will watch one more video. This one will be about the strangest animals on the Earth.
Have you seen any of these animals before?
Which of them is the strangest one and why do you think so?
IX. Объяснение домашнего задания
At home you should do ex. 3a p. 97. Read the text about the animals from the Guinness book and translate it.
X. Подведение итогов урока. Рефлексия
So today we have learnt some new animals. Do you like them? Which animal do you like? Which part of today’s lesson was the most interesting? Have you remembered animals’ names?
