1. Общие положения

Контрольно-измерительные материалы (КИМ) предназначены для контроля и оценки образовательных достижений обучающихся, освоивших программу учебной дисциплины «Английский язык».

КИМ включают материалы для промежуточной аттестации в форме дифференцированного зачёта на очном отделении и недифференцированного зачёта на заочном отделении.

2. Результаты освоения дисциплины, подлежащие проверке

В результате изучения учебной дисциплины «Английский язык» обучающийся должен овладеть комплексом знаний, навыков и умений, которые входят в состав всех компонентов коммуникативной компетенции – языкового (лингвистического), речевого, социокультурного, учебно-познавательного и компенсаторного.

Тема 1. Вводный курс.

Требования к знаниям:

• лексический минимум и речевые обороты

• правила чтения

• спряжение глагола to be в настоящем времени группы Indefinite

• три типа вопросов (общий, специальный и альтернативный)

• повелительное наклонение

• настоящее время группы Continuous

• предлоги места и направления

• притяжательные местоимения

Требования к умениям:

• применять полученные знания в чтении текстов без словаря

• отвечать на вопросы

• выполнять упражнения на закрепление знаний

Тема 2. Мы изучаем иностранный язык.

Требования к знаниям:

- лексический минимум по теме

• настоящее время группы Indefinite

• наречия неопределённого времени

• числительные

• вопросы к подлежащему

Требования к умениям:

• чтение с полным пониманием прочитанного

• выполнять упражнения подстановочного характера

• задавать вопросы

• составлять рассказы по образцу

Тема 3. Рабочий день. Выходные.

Требования к знаниям:

• лексический минимум по теме

• основные формы глаголов

• прошедшее время группы Indefinite

• объектный падеж местоимений

• притяжательный падеж существительных

Требования к умениям:

• переводить текст, построенного на изученном лексико-грамматическом материале, без словаря

• описывать свой рабочий день (рабочий день своего друга, родителей и т.д.) в настоящем и прошедшем времени

• переводить предложения в нужной временной форме глагола-сказуемого

• пересказывать текст от 3-го лица ед. числа

• инсценировать диалог

Тема 4. Семья. Квартира.

Требования к знаниям:

• лексический минимум по теме

• глагол to have и оборот to have (has) got

• оборот there is (there are) в настоящем и прошедшем времени группы Indefinite

• модальный глагол can и оборот to be able to

Требования к умениям:

• переводить предложения на английский язык

• составлять вопросы к тексту

• составлять диалоги по образцу

• делать сообщения на темы

Требования к знаниям:

• настоящее время группы Perfect

• лексико-грамматический материал предыдущих уроков

• узнавать в предложении The Past Indefinite Tense и The Present Perfect Tense

• переводить предложения на английский язык, используя активную лексику по теме

• пересказывать текст

• составлять рассказ на тему «Книги в нашей жизни»

Тема 6. Здоровье. Отдых.

Требования к знаниям:

• лексика по теме

• речевые образцы

• будущее время группы Indefinite

• сложноподчинённые предложения с союзами till, as soon as, before, after, while

Требования к умениям:

• переводить текст в будущем времени

• рассказывать о своём отдыхе во всех изученных временных формах

• свободно вести диалог по теме

The U.K. is a parliamentary monarchy. The main political parties of Great Britain are the Labour Party, the Liberal Party and the Conservative Party.

Big Ben is the biggest clock bell in Britain. The other interesting place is The Houses of Parliament are the building in which Parliament sit, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. It is situated in the centre of London. There are many nice squares in London. Trafalgar Square is one of them and it is in the centre of the West End. We can see a statue of Lord Nelson in the middle of this square.

English traditions.

Every country and every nation has its own traditions and customs. Englishmen are proud of their traditions and carefully keep them up. The English are stay-at-home people. “There is no place like home”, they say. When they don’t work they like to spend their days off at home with their families. Englishmen are very fond of fire-place, that’s why many of them prefer the open fire to central heating. They like to live in small garden. People all over the world know the saying “The Englishmen’s home is his castle”.

In some English houses lunch is the biggest meal of the day – they have meat or fish, vegetables, fruit or pudding. In the afternoon, at tea-time the English like to have a cup of tea with milk. Some Englishmen have their dinner late in the evening. For dinner they have soup, fish or meat, vegetables, pudding or fruit. For supper they usually have a glass of milk and a cake or a cup of tea and sandwich.

The English are tea drinkers. They have it many times a day. Some Englishmen have tea for breakfast, tea in lunch time, tea after dinner, tea at tea time and tea with supper. Some English families have “high tea” or big tea no supper. For high tea they may have cold meat, bread and butter, cakes, and, of course, a lot of tea. The Englishmen always drink tea out of cups, never out of glasses.

1. Television, also called TV, is one of the most important mass media. People with a television set can sit at home and can see and learn about people, animals, and things in faraway lands. Million of viewers around the world can watch sports events and other events of worldwide interest.

2. TV brings its viewers a steady stream of programmes that are designed to give information and to entertain. In fact, television provides more entertainment programmes than any other kind of mass media. The programmes include sports events, variety shows, quiz shows, feature films, cartoons, fictional serials called soap operas, etc.

3.There are two main kinds of television stations: public stations and commercial stations. Public television stations are supported by the government. They usually broadcast more educational programmes and programmes on cultural subjects. News and current affairs programmes make up an important section of programmes for most public television stations. Commercial television stations are run by private companies. They sell advertising time to pay for their operating costs and to make a profit for the companies that run the stations.

4.People can also subscribe to cable television system. Viewers pay a fee for this service. Cable television signals are delivered to home TVsets of their customers by cables. Some cable systems carry more than one hundred channels – far more than can broadcast even in the largest urban areas.

5. Satellite broadcasting is another form of subscription television. The signals are transmitted to home TVsets from a direct broadcasting satellite in space. The viewer must have a dishreceiver aerial to receive the programmes.

6. We may speak about different advantages and drawbacks of television but almost every home has at least one TVset. On average, a TVset is in use for about 7 hours each day. Thus, television is the most effective means of mass communication known to mankind. It has become the people’s eyes and ears on the world.
