«Проблемы путешествия»

(Holiday problems)

Цели урока:

1) повторение и систематизация изученного материала по теме «Путешествие»;

2) развитие языковой, речевой и социокультурной компетенции;

3) развитие коммуникативных умений и навыков (чтения, аудирования, говорения, лексико-грамматических навыков);

4) развитие интереса к предмету.

Задачи урока:

1) совершенствовать навыки говорения (монологической и диалогической речи);

2) развить навыки просмотрового чтения и развитие умения прогнозировать содержание текста по начальным фразам;

3) развить лексико-грамматические навыки (употребление времен Present Continuous и Present Perfect, закрепление лексики по теме «Путешествие»);

4) развить навыки аудирования на понимание основного содержания и детальное понимание содержания прослушанного текста (диалога);

5) развить навыки письма (написание открытки другу)

Оборудование:

1) УМК «Английский в фокусе» для 8 класса, авт. Ю.Е. Ваулина, Д. Дули и др., изд-во «Просвещение», г. Москва, 2012 г.;

2) аудиодиск (приложение к учебнику);

3) компьютер;

4) презентация, в которой отражены задания по аудированию, новая лексика по теме «Проблемы путешествия», правила написания «открытки другу»;

6) дополнительный раздаточный материал (открытка другу);

7) интерактивная доска;

Ход урока.

1. Организационный момент (приветствие, сообщение темы урока и цели).

У: Good morning, boys and girls! I am very glad to see you.  How are you today? Fine. Now I see you are ready to start working. First of all, I would like to read with you these sentences (on the whiteboard) and remember our last topic of the lesson. Try to guess the topic of our lesson :

-People like to do it .

-They usually do it in summer.

-They take a lot of luggage with them.

-A lot of people do it all over the world.

Ответ: I think Travelling

У: You are right. But today we will talk about other topic, what sometimes happens while Travelling.

Now, look at the blackboard and choose bad things that can happen during the holidays and tell me:

Winning a lottery, sunburn, beautiful sunset, car crash, job promotion, filling in tax papers, selling a house, passport got lost, bad weather.

Ответ: Car crash, passport got lost, bad weather and sunburn.

У: What do you think our lesson is about?

Д: I think the topic of our lesson is «Holiday problems».

У: You are right. Today we are going to talk about holiday problems.

In my opinion, this topic is very interesting and important nowadays because we enjoy travelling about our country and visiting different countries and we can’t imagine our life without it. Nowadays millions of people all over the world are travelling.

People began to travel many years ago. The first travelers discovered new lands. Our life is impossible without travelling. Thousands of people travel every day either on business or for pleasure.

Of course, sometimes we have some problems! You have told 4 problems from them (sunburn, car crash, passport got lost and bad weather), let’s discuss another problems.

1. Развитие умений монологического высказывания – описание картинок с опорой на тематическую лексику.

Речевая разминка:

У: well, you should repeat key words and expressions.

Слайд со списком слов. Читаем вместе.

У: Which type of holiday problems do you know? You should write a list of holiday problems as many words as you can in your groups. You have 2 minutes. ready? Go!

Каждая команда пишет свой список проблем. Один представитель из каждой команды перечисляет все возможные варианты. Сравниваем. (3 минуты на выполнение задания)

У: Have you ever had any holiday problems?

Good job!

Now look at the pictures. What can you see? What has happened to the people?

Ответ Д: Picture A shows two people. Their car has broken down. Picture B shows someone’s running after a plane. I think he has missed his flight. Picture C shows two people by the sea. They are sitting on the beach but it is raining. The weather is getting bad. Picture D shows someone looking at the signpost with a map in his hand. He has lost his way.

У: While travelling people can have some holiday problems. Very good!

1. Развитие умений аудирования (развитие умения понимать основное содержание).

У: Ann, Laura and Tony are talking about their problems. You should listen and write their problems in your notebooks, which you will hear twice.

Ответ Д: I think Ann is talking about the weather (the weather getting bad); Laura is talking about getting sunstroke; Tony is talking about his car which broke down.

У: Well done. Now you know what can happen on a trip.

1. Развитие навыков чтения (диалог).

Развитие умений просмотрового чтения.

У: Now open your books p.92 ex. 5, there is a dialogue. Look at the task of ex. and guess: What this dialogue is about.

Д: I think this dialogue is about good and bad holiday experiences.

У: Now you should read the dialogue in your group. Then the first group should write the good experiences and the second group should write the bad experiences. You will have 2 minutes.

В группах дети читают диалог и ищут нужную им информацию (3 минуты на выполнение задания).

У: What good and what bad experiences did Isabelle have while she was travelling?

Ответ Д:

Good experiences: Greece was beautiful, Italians were friendly, Italian cuisine was great.

Bad experiences:

Got sunstroke in Greece, Got seasick on the ferry to Italy, Got purse stolen in Barcelona while waiting for a bus.

У: Good job!

What else have you known from this dialogue? What do you think Andrew will go on holiday next year? Why?

1. Развитие навыков письма (учимся писать открытку другу)

In the UK people used to write a post card being on holiday somewhere. You should write your own postcard about holiday where everything goes wrong. Don’t forget the topic of our lesson. What is it? You are right – Holiday problems.

Imagine you are in the city, which is represented on the postcard. You should give a real information what you have already done. You should use Present Perfect. Вспомним правила образования Present Perfect.

Also you can use key words and our plan.

You have got 4 minutes.

Раздать открытки. На доске ключевые слова и план написания открытки.

1. Dear + name

3. It (is) was a nightmare!

You will never guess what happened!

We had an awful experience.

Wait till I tell you what happened.

1. Wrong story. You can use present perfect (have/ has V3/ed) what you have done.

2. Use Going to for your future plans

3. A good way to finish a postcard:
