Тип урока: комбинированный
Вид урока: Урок- совершенствование речевых навыков
Цель урока: рассказать об одном английском блюде.
Задачи:
Образовательная: активизация лексических навыков чтения, говорения по теме;
Развивающая: развитие речемыслительные операции сравнения и сопоставления, умение давать оценку, высказать своё мнение на английском языке.
Воспитательная: создавать условия для воспитания толерантного отношения к культуре страны изучаемого языка
Основные методы и приёмы: коммуникативный, интерактивный, работа в парах и группах.
Средства обучения (оборудование, наглядность): компьютеры, доска, дидактический раздаточный и демонстрационный материал (Английский язык: учеб. пособие для Английского языка 8 класс, Вышэйшая школа, 2008 год, Л.М. Лапицкая и др. Английский язык 8 класс: Рабочая тетрадь, Аверсэв, 2011, Л.М. Лапицкая и др.), видеоролики, интерактивная доска, ресурс  en.islcollective.com, elearning.mslu.by., ресурс YouTube .

Ход урока

1.Начало урока.
-Good morning. I’m glad to see you today. Take your seats please. Before we start our lesson, we are going to read the tongue twist.
Фонетическая зарядка:
-Now, look at the handouts that I gave you, let’s try to read this tongue twist together (Приложение 1) .
Целеполагание:
-Look at the blackboard please. Read the poem and look at the pictures. (Приложение 2)
-How do you think, what are we going to speak about? (pictures with British food) -Today we are going to speak about “National British cuisine”
-Our aims for today’s lesson are: to listen to the text about British food, to answer to the questions, to do some exercises, to have fun.
Речевая разминка:
-What do you know about British food? Do you know how does the national British breakfast look like? What does it include? (sausages, bacon, fried tomatoes, baked beans, eggs and buttered toast.)
- Do you know another traditional British dishes?
Проверка домашнего задания:
Let’s check your homework. Your homework was ex 3b page 68, to read the sentences and to say if they are true or false.
2.Основная часть.
-As you already know, the UK is consists of 4 countries, and each of them have they one traditional dishes.
-We are going to watch the video about traditional English food. After that you will need to answer to some questions. And pay attention witch articles are used with the names of meals. But before reading and watching the video, look at the new words and phrases.(Приложение 3) (at the blackboard)
-Now, let’s watch the video. (приложение 4)

-So tell me, what new information did you learn from this video?
-Let’s look at the picture on the blackboard. Try to describe traditional English dishes. What do British people eat for breakfast, lunch, snack and for dinner?

-You already know the traditional dishes in England, but do you know what article we use with the name of the meals? Look at the handouts.
Развитие грамматических навыков.
Articles with Names of Meals
1. Nouns that represent meals -do not have an article-
to have (take, serve, cook, prepare), breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea.-
(Lunch is at 12 o’clock.)
2. The indefinite article is used if the noun has a descriptive definition. (Let’s have an early supper tonight. We had a late dinner.)
3. The definite article is used with these nouns if there is a situation, context, limiting definition, or the food itself is meant. (The dinner you cooked was great!)
-So, we are going to do some exercises to know if you understand this rule correctly

3. Заключительная часть урока.
So,tell me, about what was our lesson? What have you done today? (we’ve listened to the text about English food, we’ve answered to the questions, we’ve done some exercises , we had fun)
-Yes, you are right, today we discussed with you traditional English food. But can you tell me about one of English dishes?
- And your homework will be to speak about traditional food in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. I will give an individual cards for everyone.
-Now I will tell you your marks (tell marks with comments).
