Описание разработки

Цель:

систематизация знаний по теме "Здоровье. Здоровый образ жизни".

Задачи:

Развивающий аспект: развитие творческих способностей учащихся, умения осуществлять репродуктивные и продуктивные речевые действия; развитие способности к сравнению, сопоставлению, планированию своего высказывания; выражать собственное мнение.

Учебный аспект: активизация лексических навыков, говорения, чтения, аудирования; автоматизация употребления грамматических конструкций - модального глагола should; обучение использованию в речи фраз-клише.

Познавательный аспект: актуализация и расширение знаний учащихся о здоровье и здоровом образе жизни; формирование навыка самостоятельного анализа и оценки предлагаемой информации.

План урока.

1. Орг. момент.

2. Фонетическая зарядка. Работа с пословицами.

3. Речевая зарядка. Игра "Чемпион". Активизация лексики по теме "Здоровье".

4. Активизация условных предложений. Работа по карточкам.

5. Опрос домашнего задания. Ролевая игра "У доктора". Развитие навыков диалогической речи учащихся.

6. Аудирование "Совет доктора".

7. Совершенствование навыков чтения. Текст "Как быть здоровым".

8. Развитие монологической речи по опорам.

9. Активизация модального глагола "should". Работа в группах, запись правил здорового образа жизни.

10. Защита проектов учащихся.

11. Итог урока. Рефлексия.

Ход урока.

I. Организационный момент.

Teacher: Good morning, girls and boys! I'm glad to see you. I want you to guess the theme of our lesson. You’ll do it easily with the help of proverbs.

II. Фонетическая зарядка (слайд № 1).

Teacher: Look at the screen and read the proverbs together:

Good health is above wealth.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away.

III. Постановка целей урока (слайд № 2).

Teacher: Pupils, what is the theme of our lesson? Today we are going to talk about a healthy way of life.

IV. Речевая разминка (слайд № 3).

They say, you can't buy health, but you can keep it, if you begin to take care of it early enough. What parts of your body should you take care of? Let's play the "Champion" game. Name all parts of the body that you know.

Цель: систематизация знаний по теме "Здоровье. Здоровый образ жизни".

Задачи:

Развивающий аспект: развитие творческих способностей учащихся, умения осуществлять репродуктивные и продуктивные речевые действия; развитие способности к сравнению, сопоставлению, планированию своего высказывания; выражать собственное мнение.

Учебный аспект: активизация лексических навыков, говорения, чтения, аудирования; автоматизация употребления грамматических конструкций - модального глагола should; обучение использованию в речи фраз-клише.

Познавательный аспект: актуализация и расширение знаний учащихся о здоровье и здоровом образе жизни; формирование навыка самостоятельного анализа и оценки предлагаемой информации.

Воспитательный аспект: воспитание активной жизненной позиции, ответственного отношения к своему здоровью, развитие инициативности, культуры речевой коммуникативности, способности к взаимодействию и сотрудничеству в процессе решения проектно-творческих задач.

Социокультурный аспект: расширение общего, социального, культурного кругозора учащихся.

Языковой материал: фразы-клише, лексический и грамматический материал по теме.

Оборудование: магнитофон, мультимедийная система, презентация Power Point (Приложение 2) , раздаточный материал.

I. Организационный момент.

GOOD HEALTH IS ABOVE WEALTH.

EARLY TO BED, EARLY TO RISE MAKES A MAN HEALTHY, WEALTHY AND WISE.

WEALTH IS NOTHING WITHOUT HEALTH.

III. Постановка целей урока (слайд № 2).

Teacher: Pupils, what is the theme of our lesson? Today we are going to talk about a healthy way of life.

IV. Речевая разминка (слайд № 3)

Complete rest

A lady went to her doctor complaining that her husband had been very nervous lately.

"What your husband needs is complete rest. I have prescribed sleeping pills".

"Very well, Doctor. When shall I give it to him?" - asked the lady.

"Don't give it to him. Take them yourself."

A witty doctor

A doctor was once called to see a rather testy aristocrat. "Well, sir, what's the matter with you?" he asked cheerfully. "That, sir," growled the patient, "is for you to find out." "I see," said the doctor thoughtfully. "Well, if you excuse me for an hour or so I'll go along and fetch a friend of mine - a veterinarian. He is the only chap I know who can make a diagnosis without asking questions."

A cure for a headache

One day a man went into chemist's shop and said: 'Have you anything to cure a headache?"

The chemist took a bottle from the shelf, held it under the gentleman's nose and took out the cork. The smell was so strong that tears came into the man's eyes and ran down his cheeks.

"What did you do that for?" he said angrily, as soon he could get back his breath.

"But that medicine has cured your headache, hasn't it?" said the chemist.

"You fool," said the man. "It's my wife that has headache, not me!"

VII. Аудирование.

Now listen to another funny story "Doctor's advice". Be ready to do a short test after it.

Doctor's advice

"Medicine won't help you at all," said the doctor to his patient. "What you need is a complete change of living. Get away to some quiet country place for a month. Go to bed early, eat more roast beef, drink plenty of good rich milk, and smoke just one cigar a day."

A month later the patient walked into the doctor's office. He looked like a new man, and the doctor told him so.

"Yes, doctor, your advice certainly did the business. I went to bed early, ate more roast beef and did all the other things you had told me. But, doctor, that one cigar a day almost killed me at first. It's no joke starting to smoke at my time of life."

IX. Работа с текстом.

As for my advice I'll tell you what... Don't consult such doctors and try to keep fit yourselves. The topic of our discussion comes from the phrase "to be fit". What is it? What is fitness? Fitness is not the same as sport or PE (Physical Education). It's a combination of physical exercises, quality food, diet, medical tests and check ups, and so on. What is your idea of keeping fit? Read the texts and choose the sentences which reflect your opinion.

Text 1

KEEPING FIT

Many parents in the USA want their families to eat healthy and nutriciuos food nowdays. Fatty foods are dangerous not only for adults but for children as well. It is advisable to have your cholesterol count checked regulary. Research shows that cutting down on cheese, butter and ice-cream in your diet will help lower your cholesterol level 50 points and only this will decrease your risk of developing heart problems later on.

Research also shows that children are havier today than they used to be some 20-30 years ago, and that the rate of obesity in young children has increased by nearly 60%. More and more parents worry about what their children eat, and bring into their family diets more fresh fruit, vegetables and fish. They avoid paying regular visits to fast-food restaurants, because McDonald's and the like serve mostly unhealthy, fatty, high cholesterol food. People believe that low-fat diets and lots of exercise will help grow a healthy generation.

But what exercises are best? For example, jogging: to jog or not to jog? That is the question. On the one hand, everyone should think about a healthy way of life. But on the other hand - getting up early on weekends? Never! And what about swimming? What real pleasure is there in the pool? Warming up before swimming helps you feel great. After a week's sitting in front of a computer and at your desk, your limbs are crying out for a bit of exercise. And the music they use in the gymnasium is quite good - energetic and rhythmic. Just 15 minutes of swimming work wonders. They are very refreshing. After that you feel fine and are ready for next week's marathon of work! Instead of swimming or jogging you may go on a cycling tour. This kind of sport also does people a lot of good; and the morning air smells fresh.

Text 2

I don't really understand the obsession that people feel about keeping fit these days. There is nothing wrong with being healthy, but with some people it's almost a religion. Nothing would make me jogging. No, thank you. I'd rather sit and have a cup of tea or coffee while the joggers are out in the streets. The idea of going out into the cold morning air to breathe in petrol fumes doesn't appeal to me at all. I get my exercise by working to the bus stop on my way to work.

And what about the food people eat? I know a man who eats natural foods and takes a lot of vitamins, but I've never seen anybody who looks as bad as he does. I like good food. I think most health food is tasteless. There is nothing wrong in having a bar of chocolate or a big meal of meat and potatoes.

Lots of people I know do Yoga. I'm not really sure what it is all about. I can't see any point in sitting on the floor with your feet behind your ears. It looks very uncomfortable to me. I'm sure sitting in an armchair, watching television or reading a book is as healthy. So, as you see, I'm not in favour of keeping fit. I don't jog or do any sports. I don't eat health food; but I'm happy the way I am.

XI. Самостоятельная творческая работа учащихся в группах (слайд №8).

Teacher:Now let's work in groups. Each group will discuss text 3 and write down 5 most important rules of healthy life style. Transfer the sentences from Text 3 using the modal verb "should":

  9. Think young and keep your mind active.


XII. Презентация проектов учащихся

It's time to present the projects that you've been working on. The theme of them is the advertising of the healthy lifestyle. (Приложение 3, 4, 5).

XIII. Итог урока (слайд № 9)

Teacher: Thank you for your projects. We’ve talked a lot about keeping fit and healthy way of life. At home you'll write a composition "The way I keep fit". We shared our idea of beauty: physical and spiritual. I wish your health and happiness. Now let's express your feelings. How do you feel after our lesson? You’ve got 3 circles of different colours. Blue - very good. Green - normal. Red - bad. I'm very glad that all of you have taken an active part in our lesson. It was very pleasant to see that all pupils are in favour of keeping fit and enjoy presenting the projects. Thank you. The lesson is over. Good bye.

Предлагаемый урок разработан на основе УМК для 7 классов под редакцией Биболетовой М.З. Это урок обобщающего повторения при изучении темы "Здоровый образ жизни". Урок представлен в виде проекта, целью которого является формирование системы знаний и умений, воплощённых в конечный интеллектуальный продукт. Учитель содействует самостоятельности, умению логически мыслить, видеть проблемы и принимать решения. Учащиеся учатся получать и использовать информацию.

На уроке реализуется принцип коммуникативной направленности и для его осуществления используются фронтальные, индивидуальные и групповые формы работы. Дети читают аутентичный материал на английском языке, таким образом, они видят реальные возможности применения своих знаний языка и получают мотивацию для дальнейшего совершенствования свих навыков и умений.

Важное место на уроке занимают игровые технологии, которые вызывают наибольший интерес у школьников, поскольку они приближают речевую деятельность к естественным нормам, помогают развивать навык общения, способствуют эффективной отработке языкового программного материала, обеспечивают практическую направленность обучения.

На уроке используются элементы проектной методики. Урок завершается защитой мини-проектов учащихся.  Среди многообразия новых педагогических технологий, направленных на реализацию личностно-ориентированного подхода в методике преподавания, интерес представляет проектное обучение, которое отличается кооперативным характером выполнения заданий, являясь творческим по своей сути и ориентированным на развитие личности учащегося.

Урок разработан с учетом здоровьесберегающего аспекта. Благодаря использованию методов технологии критического мышления, игровой и проектной технологии, имеет место стимулирование мыслительной деятельности учащихся, и как следствие, ученики всё чаще попадают в ситуацию успеха. Положительные эмоции облегчают усвоение материала, уменьшают утомление, стимулируют высшую нервную деятельность ребёнка, улучшает психологический климат на уроке. Необходимым условием здоровьесбережения является творческий характер педпроцесса. Включение школьника в творческую деятельность способствует реализации поисковой деятельности. Возможности для решения творческих задач в учебном процессе достигается через использование активных форм и методов обучения, о которых упоминалось выше.

Урок сопровождается презентацией выполненной в программе “Power Point”. Творческий подход позволяет учителю максимально эффективно использовать в своей работе богатый инструментарий, представляемый современными компьютерными образовательными технологиями. Использование мультимедиа на уроках - это и требование сегодняшнего дня, и огромная помощь в педагогической работе.
