ДЛЯ 8-ГО КЛАССА

Тема: Проблемы экологии.

Влияние деятельности человека на природу.

Данный урок разработан для учащихся 8-го класса по учебнику М.З.Биболетова, Н.Н.Трубанева «Английский с удовольствием» к разделу 2, урок № 29 «Проблемы экологии». К уроку разработан текст о решении проблемы эрозии почвы в х. Михайлове, комплекс упражнений к тексту, словарик, слайды с видами хутора и насаждениями меловых сосен.

Nature of our village

With the development of civilization man’s interference in nature began to increase. Since ancient times Nature has served Man, being the source of his life. Environmental protection is of a universal concern.

We live in a small village Mikhaylov. It has a picturesque landscape. A small river flows through the village creating unforgettable views. The river Bistraya(3) is not deep but has a strong current. Our village is situated on sandy soil.

At the beginning of the 20^th century our village developed as a worker’s settlement because next to Mikhaylov there was a coal pit. The most dwellers were miners. People built new school, hospital, shops, post office, nursery. But nature prepared a surprise to our dwellers. Sandy soil was quickly ruined by water and wind leaving gulley which increased year by year. So it was taken a decision about man-made green plantations.

What species of plants take good on sandy soil? They are pane trees, of course. At the beginning of the 70^s dwellers with pupils of our school planted out some thousand of sapling. Two large beautiful plantations conserve our village from washout (4, 6). Sandy soil isn’t ruined by water and wind. Pine trees’ roots keep sandstone and hinder from erosion. Two species of pine were used: a pine sylvestris and a pine cretaceous. A cretaceous pine is a rare pine and it enters in the Red Book of Russia. These pines occupy cretaceous and sand soil of steppes. They hold out dry period and hot wind in the summer and strong cold wind in the winter.

Soil moisture quickly escapes after rain but pines feel themselves comfortable.

In the coniferous plantations lives a population of squirrels. There live a lot of other species of animals and insects (5). Pine plantations have practical and aesthetic meaning. They decorated our village. It’s very pleasant walk there in a winter freezing day or in a hot summer day. Resinous smell is very useful for health.

For thousands of years people lived in harmony with environment and it seemed to them that natural riches were unlimited. Environmental protection is of a universal concern. That is why serious measures to create a system of ecological security should be taken. If people take care of Nature in each settlement or city they won’t have so many environmental problems. We must be carried onward to protect nature, to save life on the planet not only for the sake of the present but also for the future generations.

Цель : Воспитание гражданина-патриота.

Развитие навыков изучающего чтения.

Обучение словообразованию: суффиксальный способ, конверсия.

Компоненты:

социокультурный –ознакомление уч-ся с местом их малой Родины;

речевой –развитие навыков говорения через чтение информационного текста языковой – употребление знаний словообразования в речи,

компенсаторный – смысловая догадка о значении незнакомых слов,

учебно-познавательный – умение работать с текстом и использовать новую информацию в речи.

Оборудование: учебник М.З. Биболетова, Н.Н.Трубанева «Английский с удовольствием» 2014г., стр. 44, текст «Природа нашего хутора», карточки, упражнения к тексту, слайды к тексту.

ХОД УРОКА

1. Организационный момент.

• Today at the lesson you will talk about nature of our village and ecological problems. Besides, we are going to learn to form new words with the help of suffixes and by transforming from one part of speech to another.

Let’s read about nature of our village. Look at the photoes. ( Учитель предлагает учащимся прочитать текст по цепочке и выполнить упражнения к тексту. Затем учитель предлагает учащимся сказать, чтобы они хотели улучшить в своем хуторе, используя упр. 9 стр.44)

1. Подведение итогов урока.

Учитель предлагает учащимся высказаться о новом изученном материале с учетом его практического применения.
