Конспект урока по английскому языку "Телевидение России и Великобритании"

Урок разработан с целью лучше понять, что из себя представляют самые популярные ТВ компании России и Великобритании. Он проводится в виде прессконференции, во время которой ведущим представителям компаний задаются вопросы, на которые они должны ответить. Мне кажется такой урок будет гораздо интереснее, чем просто прочитання информация о телевидении в наших странах.

Описание разработки

Задачи: 

1. Автоматизировать в речи учащихся употребление ЛЕ по теме «TV or not TV».

2. Развить навыки диалогической речи и монологических высказываний.

3. Совершенствовать навыки чтения.

4. Познакомить с элементами культуры страны изучаемого языка.

Ход урока.

1. Организационный момент в виде приветствия учащихся и введение темы урока.

 T - Stand straight, please. Good morning, children! Sit down, please.

Who is on duty today? Make up report on duty.

P1 - Today is the … of March. Today is Monday. It’s cloudy, windy and wet. All are present.

T - Thank you, sit down, please.

 2. Look at the blackboard. The theme of our lesson is “Look at Britain and Russian TV Companies”. I think it’ll be interesting for you today.

There are some words which help during the lesson. The task is to read these words and to give the definitions to them. Let’s start:

P1, P2, P3…

 A channel - a certain TV line

 A documentary - a certain type of films which is informed or given scientific commentaries

 A feature film - a certain type of films which is on certain side of life

 To transmit - to broadcast

 To provide - to support

 To sattelite - an artificial body which ringer around our world in space

 Commercial - a channel is existed only for money

 An audience – TV viewers

 A serial - a film which consists of several parts

 To devote - to give yourself for smth. or smb.

 Cable - a TV rope thanks to which our TV sets take signals

 Serious - a stick person or event

 A TV viewer - a person who likes to watch TV

 A series - a parts of the film

T - All right! The work is done well.

3. T - So, students, I’m glad that I’ve got an opportunity to open a new discussion club which I hope will exist forever at our school. Everybody knows the humanity of the 21 - st century can’t exist without television. To my mind it is. The best and the quickest way to get the information. Today we’ll try to prove it. That’s why I offer you to imagine yourself that you are not the students of the 9 - th form but you are the representatives of British and Russian TV companies.

  Please, change your seats. To the right hand - there are managers of British TV companies and to the left - are the managers of Russian companies.

Let’s begin our discussion.

4. Well, I’d like to introduce the manager of British delegation Mrs. Helen Lagutina.

 - Hello, Helen!

 - Hi, Mrs. Ann!

 - Nice to meet you.

 - Pleased to meet you too.

The British are considered to be very enthusiastic TV viewers. What can you say about that?

“Television, properly called TV or the Telly, is very popular in Britain. Television programmes are broadcast every evening and at the certain time of the day too”.

OK. Thank you.

5. Now , look at the picture of the TV - set. There is British audience share, according which we can see that the most popular channel in Britain is ITV. So, I’d like to introduce Mr. Taranets - the representative of this company.

T - P1  Well, Evgeniya, say some words about your company.

 Hello! As you can see our company consists of 14 programme companies, each serves a different part of the country. The main channels are3 and 4. Channel 4  serves the whole country. It gets most of the money from advertising. Also our channel is independent commercial organisation. Any questions to me?

P1 - P2, P3 What language do you use when broadcast in Wales, Scotland?

P1  We broadcast the most programmes in native languages.

  Thank you.

P1 - P2 The discussion between the representatives of British and Russian channels

 P3 - P4  BBC (BBC - 2) - NTV Moscow.

T - Cl Well! I think it was very interesting discussion. And we obtained a lot of  information.

6. T -  Summing up everything we can say that Television is very important in our life.

7. T -  Open your diaries and write down your home task:

  Prepare short reports about the channels your parents prefer to watch and why.

  Ex. 2, p. 71 will help you to do it.

8. T - Today we worked hard and you’ve got good and excellent marks. Thank you for the lesson and good bye.
