Цель: ознакомление с новой лексикой, с новым речевым оборотом What season is it?

Задачи:

а) практическая: практиковать учащихся в говорении (монологической, диалогический речи), чтении;

б) образовательная: развивать у учащихся восприятие и понимание устной речи на слух с опорой на наглядность;

в) воспитательная: создавать условия для развития интереса у учащихся к изучению английского языка;

г) развивающая: развивать у учащихся память

Оснащение урока: картинки времен года, игрушки.

Ход урока

1. Organization moment

T. Good morning, children! Let’s greet our guests.

P. Good morning, our guests! We are glad to see you!

T. How are you?

P. Fine, thanks. And you?

T. I’m all right, thank you. Today we’ll have an unusual lesson. We’ll go to a fairy land. We’ll learn the names of the seasons and months.

Oh, look, somebody has come to us! This is Teddy Bear!

2. Phonetic drill.

Teddy Bear: Good morning, boys and girls! Welcome to our fairy land.

Listen and repeat after me, please.

thing, thin, thick

part, dark, park

port, fork, sort

3. Introduction of the new words.

T. But our way will not be easy. We’ll have to do some tasks to continue our way. Look at the blackboard. You can see sheets of paper on it. But we can’t see what there is on them.

Teddy Bear: If you answer my questions you’ll see the first picture.

What is your name?

How old are you?

Which class are you in?

Where are from?

T. Good. Look at the picture. Today we’ll speak about seasons. It’s winter. Now let’s try to open the next picture.

Teddy Bear: Please, count from 1 to 20.

T. Excellent. Look at this picture. It’s spring.

Teddy Bear: Look at the pictures and answer my questions.

 - What is it?

  - What colour is this ball?

 T. Great. Look at this picture. It’s summer.

Teddy Bear: To continue our way you should recite me a poem. Wonderful. In this picture you can autumn.

 IV. Work with the vocabulary.

Teddy Bear: Now you try to do a puzzle. Look at it and find the words on the

theme “Family”.

5. Физминутка

Hands up! Hands down!

Hands on hips! Sit down!

Bend left! Bend right!

Clap your hands! And jump one, two, three!

T. Fine. Now we learn the names of the months.

 Teddy Bear: Each season has 3 sons.

  Winter has 3 sons. Their names are December, January, February.

  Spring has 3 sons. Their names are March, April, May

  Summer has 3 sons. Their names are June, July, August.

  Autumn has got 3 sons. Their names are September, October, November.

  Repeat after these words and try to remember them.

6. Writing.

T. Please, open your dictionaries and write down the new words.

 VII. Game.

Teddy Bear: Let’s play “Happy Chance”!

  Teddy Bear asks children to guess what he has in his bag.

  P. Is it a bike?

  P. Is it a computer?

  T. Now let’s say “Thank you” and “Good bye” to Teddy Bear.

VIII. Hometask. Learn the hew words.

  Our lesson is over, thank you for your good work. Today you learn the new words,   learn to answer the questions.
